Giants | Sterling Shepard listed as questionable

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 10:18:47 -0800

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (illness) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 12 Thanksgiving night game against the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Tip: Optimistic owners can look at the fact he is listed as questionable as a positive sign he'll be able to play, but this seems like a true 50-50 situation. Shepard started experiencing migraines late last week and did not play in Week 11, so he could easily end up being a game-time decision.

Giants | Sterling Shepard not spotted at practice

Tue, 21 Nov 2017 10:33:53 -0800

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (migraines) was not seen during the portion of practice available to the media Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Considering the Giants are on a short week and Shepard began suffering from migraines late last week, owners should consider other options for the Giants' game versus the Washington Redskins in two days. Tavarres King, Roger Lewis and Travis Rudolph would see the most action again among New York receivers if Shepard sits, but none are worth fantasy consideration in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Unfortunately for Shepard he has just three more days to be ready for Thursday night's contest after missing Week 11. His status will need to be monitored, but Shepard has WR2 appeal as the Giants' No. 1 receiving option if he's active.

Giants | Sterling Shepard dealing with migraines

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 07:11:56 -0800

Updating previous reports, New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (migraines) was placed on the Week 11 injury report because he is dealing with migraines, according to a source. He is expected to be a game-time decision.

Giants | Sterling Shepard likely out

Sat, 18 Nov 2017 20:50:39 -0800

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (illness) is unlikely to play against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11, but he will see how he feels in warmups before a final decision is made, according to a league source.

Fantasy Tip: Shepard would be a must-start option if he is able to suit up, but if he sits, it should only further boost Evan Engram's status as a TE1.

Giants | Sterling Shepard listed as questionable

Sat, 18 Nov 2017 09:37:17 -0800

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (illness) was a late addition to the team's Week 11 injury report with an illness and has been listed as questionable to play versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Tip: Illnesses very rarely keep NFL players from playing on Sunday, but this disclosure may be a reason to sit him in fantasy if trying to decide between two similar options. With that said, Shepard has a very favorable matchup and should still start in most leagues assuming he is not too limited.

Giants | Sterling Shepard has big afternoon

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 19:42:21 -0800

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard posted career highs with 11 receptions and 142 yards in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. He was targeted 13 times.

Fantasy Tip: Now that Shepard is healthy he is the de facto No. 1 wideout for Big Blue with Odell Beckham done for the season and Brandon Marshall also on the shelf. It was his third-career 100-yard game. He remains a solid WR2 in most fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats.

Giants | Sterling Shepard catches five passes

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 14:05:08 -0800

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard caught five passes for 70 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9.

Fantasy Tip: Shepard returned after missing the last few games and had a solid outing as the new No. 1 receiver for the Giants. He should continue to receive a solid amount of targets moving forward and can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in most leagues.
