Ravens | Alex Collins not guaranteed starting spot

Thu, 04 Jan 2018 08:42:01 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins wasn't guaranteed the starting spot for 2018 as head coach John Harbaugh said the team is looking to upgrade everything.

Fantasy Tip: Collins broke through with 973 rushing yards (4.6 yards per carry), six touchdowns, 23 receptions and 187 receiving yards this season. He should be in a good spot to at least be part of a 50-50 split. He'll be a low-end RB2 in next year's drafts.

Ravens | Alex Collins with tasty matchup

Tue, 26 Dec 2017 06:38:02 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins has a good matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 as the Bengals are the second-worst team at defending the position in the last five weeks.

Fantasy Tip: The Bengals have allowed five fewer rushing scores than the Houston Texans, and they're just three points behind them. That's how susceptible to yardage they are through the air and on the ground. Collins has been held in check the last two weeks, but he's a bright spot RB2 play in the finale.

Ravens | Alex Collins has decent game

Sat, 23 Dec 2017 16:56:00 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins rushed for 51 yards on 18 carries against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16. He also caught three passes for 15 yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Collins has cooled down a bit after his 120-yard performance a few weeks ago. He will continue to receive most of the carries against the Cincinnati Bengals and can be a No. 2 fantasy running back.

Ravens | Alex Collins unable to find running room

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 14:16:37 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins rushed for 19 yards on 12 carries against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. He also caught five passes for 33 yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Collins did have a disappointing game in terms of his rush yards but his work in the passing game made him a solid option for point-per-reception leagues. He should have more success next week against the Indianapolis Colts and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option for owners.

Ravens | Alex Collins not on injury report

Wed, 06 Dec 2017 18:14:24 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins (migraines) was not listed on the club's injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: John Harbaugh had previously said that Collins was suffering from migraines after the team's win over the Lions last Sunday, but apparently they're not significant enough to land the 23-year-old on the injury report for this weekend. Even so, it's still something to keep in mind, as the Ravens have enough depth to scale back his workload if necessary.

Ravens | Alex Collins dealing with migraines

Mon, 04 Dec 2017 20:46:23 -0800

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins (head) was dealing with migraines after the team's Week 13 win Sunday, Dec. 3, opposite the Detroit Lions, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Fantasy Tip: This will be a story for owners to follow throughout the upcoming week, as Collins' status for Week 14 could be up in the air as a result. It's also possible his workload is scaled back a bit, which would be unfortunate, as he's logged double-digit carries in eight straight weeks. He's also churned out four touchdowns in his last three games. If he has to miss any time, Javorius Allen and Danny Woodhead would each get a boost.

Baltimore Ravens RB Alex Collins rushed 15 times for 75 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 23 yards in a 44-20 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 13.
