Texans | Will Fuller still not practicing

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 11:05:11 -0800

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (ribs) remained absent from practice Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Fuller is a longshot to play in Week 12 in what would be a poor matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens. His absence should free up targets once again for Bruce Ellington, who should be able to escape Baltimore's high-end outside cornerbacks and do some work in the slot. Consider Ellington a low-end WR3 in PPR leagues this week.

Texans | Will Fuller's status uncertain

Mon, 20 Nov 2017 13:05:50 -0800

Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he is not sure if WR Will Fuller (ribs) will be able to play in Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Fuller will have an extra day to recover since the Texans play on Monday Night Football. Owners will need to keep an eye on his practice participation during the week to have a better idea of his status. Owners may want to keep Fuller on the bench since there would be limited options if he does not play.

Texans | Will Fuller out for Week 11

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 14:04:42 -0800

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (ribs) did not practice Friday, Nov. 17, and he is officially ruled out for Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: With Fuller on the shelf it will be Bruce Ellington starting alongside DeAndre Hopkins against the Cards. Ellington is worth a look as a WR4 or WR5 in deeper fantasy leagues and as a low-priced DFS target against the 23rd-ranked pass defense in the NFL.

Texans | Will Fuller likely out Week 11

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 11:09:42 -0800

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (ribs) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 15, and is not expected to play in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Fuller is reportedly dealing with cracked ribs after getting blasted by Los Angeles Rams safety Lemarcus Joyner last week. Bruce Ellington attracted eight targets - catching half of them - and scored a touchdown in the same game and has shown a fair amount of chemistry with Tom Savage dating back to the preseason. Expect Ellington to be a surprise DFS staple this week as DeAndre Hopkins will likely receive shadow treatment from Patrick Peterson.

Texans | Will Fuller to miss time

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 06:45:05 -0800

Updating previous reports, Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (ribs) is expected to miss at least one game with cracked ribs suffered in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Fuller has a 17-326-7 line - and that's not a typo. He has value because of his knack for finding the end zone as a WR5.

Texans | Will Fuller has injury to ribs

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 14:57:34 -0800

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (ribs) will not return to the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams due to an injury to his ribs.

Fantasy Tip: Originally it appears he might have been woozy and in need of a concussion evaluation, but it's a completely different area. Either way, he isn't returning. Bruce Ellington will likely absorb the targets Fuller would have had.

Texans | Will Fuller taken to locker room

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 14:35:05 -0800

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (head) left the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams in the first half after looking a bit woozy after a hard hit. He was taken to the locker room for evaluation.

Fantasy Tip: It's uncertain if he is in the concussion protocol or not, but Bruce Ellington stepped up and scored a touchdown immediately after Fuller left. He appears to the biggest beneficiary of a Fuller absence.
