Browns | Uncertain future for Corey Coleman?

Fri, 05 Jan 2018 09:31:00 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman faces an "uncertain future" with the team after a second straight season of "unmet expectations," according to ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman's drop of a critical pass late in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers played a key role in the Browns' inability to avoid a 0-16 season, but the bigger problem for the new leadership in Cleveland may be his durability - he's played only 19 of a possible 32 games. Coleman will likely start next season if he is brought back as expected, but the Browns may not hesitate to seek an upgrade.

Sun, 24 Dec 2017 13:29:59 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman caught one pass for three yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has been held to under 20 yards in three of the last four games and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues next week.

Browns | Corey Coleman held to one catch

Sun, 17 Dec 2017 14:52:29 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman caught one pass for 16 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has been a bit inconsistent for owners this season but has been targeted at least six times in three of the last five games. Owners probably will be able to find better options to use in Week 16 and can avoid Coleman.

Browns | Corey Coleman posts 62 yards, TD

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 16:19:38 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman finished with five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers on his six targets.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman visited the end zone for the first time since Week 1, as he is totally back from his hand injury now. He bounced back nicely after getting blanked last week against the Chargers. He can be trusted as a WR4 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 15.

Browns | Corey Coleman leads way in Cleveland

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 13:50:25 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman finished with three receptions for 64 yards on eight targets in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has posted nine catches for 144 yards over the past two games on 19 targets, but he hasn't found the end zone since his return from a hand injury. Still, he's a decent low-end WR3 or flex option in most PPR formats, with WR4 appeal in standard leagues heading into Week 13 against the Chargers.

Browns | Corey Coleman targeted 11 times

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 16:43:47 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman posted six receptions for 80 yards on a game-high 11 targets in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman is making his way back from a broken hand and he did not play with any limitations in this one. He appears to be the receiver of choice for DeShone Kizer, and he could be a pretty solid WR3 or flex option down the stretch, particularly in PPR formats, with very little competition for targets. The Browns travel to meet the Bengals in Week 12.

Browns | Corey Coleman starting

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 09:12:02 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) will be in the starting lineup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has missed most of the season because of his broken hand but should be a big part of the passing moving forward. He probably is not a great option this week because of Jacksonville Jaguars' pass defense, but he should be a valuable fantasy player during the last part of the season.

Browns | Corey Coleman not expected to be limited

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 18:28:14 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) has had two good weeks of practice and will be ready for a full workload in Week 11, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman likely will enter the starting lineup in his first week back and has a chance to see a solid amount of targets. He could be at least a flex option in point-per-reception leagues and should also have value in standard leagues.

Browns | Corey Coleman activated from IR

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 12:35:31 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman is a welcome addition to a struggling Browns squad. He was the favorite target of DeShone Kizer before he was hurt, so there's no reason to think Coleman can't pick up where he left off. Pick him up if he's available on waivers.
