Browns | Corey Coleman targeted 11 times

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 16:43:47 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman posted six receptions for 80 yards on a game-high 11 targets in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman is making his way back from a broken hand and he did not play with any limitations in this one. He appears to be the receiver of choice for DeShone Kizer, and he could be a pretty solid WR3 or flex option down the stretch, particularly in PPR formats, with very little competition for targets. The Browns travel to meet the Bengals in Week 12.

Browns | Corey Coleman starting

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 09:12:02 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) will be in the starting lineup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman has missed most of the season because of his broken hand but should be a big part of the passing moving forward. He probably is not a great option this week because of Jacksonville Jaguars' pass defense, but he should be a valuable fantasy player during the last part of the season.

Browns | Corey Coleman not expected to be limited

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 18:28:14 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) has had two good weeks of practice and will be ready for a full workload in Week 11, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman likely will enter the starting lineup in his first week back and has a chance to see a solid amount of targets. He could be at least a flex option in point-per-reception leagues and should also have value in standard leagues.

Browns | Corey Coleman activated from IR

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 12:35:31 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman is a welcome addition to a struggling Browns squad. He was the favorite target of DeShone Kizer before he was hurt, so there's no reason to think Coleman can't pick up where he left off. Pick him up if he's available on waivers.

Browns | Corey Coleman good to go next week

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 12:13:56 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) will be fully prepared to play in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: The good news is that Coleman is back. The bad news is that he's returning to face the best pass defense in the NFL in the Jacksonville Jaguars. On the year, the Jaguars have yielded just one touchdown to wide receivers. Coleman is a flex consideration at best.

Browns | Corey Coleman believes he's fully healthy

Wed, 08 Nov 2017 19:06:30 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) said Wednesday, Nov. 8, that his previously injured hand is "100 percent healthy now."

Fantasy Tip: Coleman's career thus far has been marred by injury since entering the league last year, but he's also proven to be very effective when healthy. If he can avoid the injury bug, the 2016 first-round draft pick can be a huge difference-maker for owners down the stretch. While Cleveland figures to have suspect quarterback play the rest of the way, Coleman should at last be heavily involved when he's on the field.

Browns | Corey Coleman designated for return

Mon, 06 Nov 2017 11:12:32 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) has been designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list. He will participate in periods of practice Monday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman will be a big help, when he does return, to what has been a stagnant Cleveland passing game. The second-year receiver was DeShone Kizer's favorite target before breaking his hand and there's no reason to believe that won't still be the case upon his return. When healthy, Coleman has WR2 upside, but he's better started as a WR3 or flex.

Browns | Corey Coleman sent home for curfew incident

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 05:03:16 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) was sent home from Houston last week after missing curfew prior to Week 6's game against the Texans. Since then, he has had talks with the coaching staff and apologized.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman is currently on the Reserve/Injured list due to a broken right hand suffered in Week 2's game versus the Baltimore Ravens. He is eligible to return to action for Week 11's contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars Nov. 19.

Browns | Corey Coleman officially on IR

Tue, 19 Sep 2017 13:07:09 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Sept. 19.

Fantasy Tip: Rashard Higgins and Ricardo Louis look to benefit the most from Coleman's misfortune. Kenny Britt is seemingly an afterthought in the Browns' offense now and should also be an afterthought in fantasy lineups. Higgins takes precedence on the waiver wire.

Browns | Corey Coleman likely to be placed on IR

Mon, 18 Sep 2017 17:23:58 -0700

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Browns WR Corey Coleman (hand) underwent surgery Monday, Sept. 18, to repair the fractured bone in his hand and likely will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Sept. 19. Coleman will be eligible of come off the Reserve/Injured list after eight weeks if he is healed.

Fantasy Tip: Coleman dealt with a broken hand last season and missed six weeks, so he will miss a significant amount of the season even if he is not placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Owners in most leagues can drop him if they need to add another player off the waiver wire. Rashard Higgins should receive a bigger role in the offense and could be a flex option in some deeper leagues.
