Bears | Jordan Howard runs for 125 yards, TD

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 13:48:52 -0800

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed 15 times for 125 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Tip: Howard posted his fourth 100-yard game of the season, and he visited the end zone for the first time since Week 4 in Green Bay. Howard is healthy, he is holding off Tarik Cohen and he remains a solid RB2 in most fantasy formats heading into Week 12 at Philadelphia.

Bears | Jordan Howard has mediocre game

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 18:57:04 -0800

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed 15 times for 54 yards in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Howard dominated the backfield touches, and rookie Mitchell Trubisky actually looked good in the pass game, so perhaps that will open things up even more for Howard going forward. He remains a decent RB2 in most fantasy formats.

Bears | Jordan Howard rushes for 102 yards

Sun, 29 Oct 2017 14:26:22 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed for 102 yards on 23 carries against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. He also caught three passes for 19 yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Howard has rushed for at least 100 yards in two of his last three games and has received at least 21 carries in each of those three games. He can be a solid No. 2 running back when he faces the Green Bay Packers in Week 10.

Bears | Jordan Howard runs for 65 yards

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 14:47:32 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed 21 times for 65 yards in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Howard was the biggest beneficiary of the team's run-heavy attack in a game which didn't feature very many fantasy stars. He'll look to return to the end zone in Week 8 on the road against the Saints.

Bears | Chicago feeding Jordan Howard

Sat, 21 Oct 2017 20:47:25 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard has rushed a combined 55 times for 243 yards in the two games QB Mitchell Trubisky has started.

Fantasy Tip: After an uneven start to the year, Howard has resumed his role as a workhorse back. Having Trubisky at quarterback should ensure that the Bears continue to lean on Howard going forward. Consider him a volume-based RB2 against a solid Carolina Panthers defense in Week 7.

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 14:33:20 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed for 167 yards on 36 carries against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Howard has rushed for at least 100 yards in two of the last four games and has three touchdowns in that span. He will be facing a solid Carolina Panthers defense next week but can be at least a No. 2 running back in all leagues.

Bears | Decent showing from Jordan Howard on MNF

Mon, 09 Oct 2017 21:00:02 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard registered 19 carries for 76 yards in the team's Week 5 game Monday, Oct. 9, opposite the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Tip: The rush attempts and yards were each the second-most logged by Howard in a game this season, so while it may have been unspectacular, it also wasn't a bad effort from the former fifth-round draft pick either. It's also worth noting that Howard wasn't targeted in the passing game -- with Tarik Cohen garnering only one throw his way -- in Mitchell Trubisky's first career start, so owners may have to eat a decrease in his receiving numbers with the rookie under center.

Bears | Jordan Howard quiet in loss

Thu, 28 Sep 2017 21:49:38 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard carried the ball 18 times for 53 yards and a score in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers. He added two receptions for 10 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Howard found pay dirt in garbage time to salvage his stat line, but the 2.9 yards carry tell the story of how he was bottled up for most of the game (and for the third time in four weeks this season). A potentially tough matchup with the Vikings is on tap, but he remains a viable RB2 with hope that the "mini-bye" will help the Bears clean up some of their issues on offense.

Bears | Jordan Howard not on Week 4 injury report

Mon, 25 Sep 2017 11:19:41 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard was not listed on the team's Week 4 injury report in advance of its game against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: A Monday injury report for Thursday games is a speculative one since teams don't practice the day after a game, but the reason this is notable is because Howard is known to have a shoulder injury and was seen favoring it Sunday. The most likely explanation is head coach John Fox's reputation for treating injury reports like state secrets and sometimes not being entirely honest with them. Despite Howard's Week 3 outburst, continue to treat him like a less-than-100-percent RB2 for now.

Bears | Jordan Howard has monster game in win

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 17:04:17 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard posted 23 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, including the game-winner in overtime, and he added five grabs for a team-high 26 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Howard was banged up last week and he shared the wealth with rookie Tarik Cohen in Week 1. This is the Howard fantasy owners have wanted to see, and it came against a strong defense. He'll look to keep it rolling in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
