Bears | Jordan Howard struggles in Week 2

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 13:33:33 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed for seven yards on nine carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.

Fantasy Tip: Howard received the most carries during the game but was not able to produce in the run game. He probably will continue to share snaps with Tarik Cohen moving forward and may only be a flex option next week.

Bears | Jordan Howard likely to play

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 18:36:25 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, according to Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune, but Campbell said Howard's snap count could be impacted.

Fantasy Tip: Howard is shaping up to be a bit of risky play, but he is still worth using as a RB2 if he suits up. Meanwhile, Tarik Cohen looks like a solid flex play this week, especially in PPR formats.

Bears | Jordan Howard questionable for Week 2

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 14:19:03 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited in practice Friday, Sept. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Tip: When healthy last week, Howard split the backfield touches in Week 1 with rookie Tarik Cohen. If Howard is unable to suit up, Cohen's already growing ownership percentage and his value will continue to skyrocket. Howard is a bit of a risky fantasy play for Week 2 at this point.

Bears | Jordan Howard limited Thursday

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 11:53:39 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Howard was a surprising addition to the Bears' injury report yesterday. He had a relatively rough first game even though he did find the end zone. If he remains limited then he could be a game-time decision, but the ailment doesn't sound too serious. If he's active, start him.

Bears | Jordan Howard limited Wednesday

Wed, 13 Sep 2017 23:34:41 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was added to injury report for Wednesday, Sept. 13, as having limited participation.

Fantasy Tip: Howard, the NFL's No. 2 rusher a season ago, underwhelmed in Week 1, totaling just 52 yards on 13 carries and, of course, dropping what looked to be the game-winning touchdown in the closing moments. Howard sustained the injury against the Falcons, but head coach John Fox didn't sound concerned earlier in the week. Unless things change expect Howard to be out there this Sunday looking for better results.

Bears | Jordan Howard overshadowed in opener

Sun, 10 Sep 2017 15:30:53 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed 13 times for 52 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Falcons, and he added three catches for 14 yards on five targets.

Fantasy Tip: Howard did well, but he had 16 touches to 13 for rookie Tarik Cohen. As such, Howard refused to speak to reporters after the game. It's a situation worth monitoring, as the youngster certainly appeared to be unhappy about working in a split with Cohen. Stay tuned.

Sun, 27 Aug 2017 14:10:43 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard rushed for 45 yards on 12 carries in the preseason game against the Tennessee Titans Sunday, Aug. 27.

Fantasy Tip: Howard will be a focal point of the team's offense this season after he rushed for 1,313 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie in 2016. He should be considered a No. 1 running back in all leagues since he probably will receive plenty of touches.

Bears | Jordan Howard dealing with eye injury

Fri, 18 Aug 2017 16:07:45 -0700

Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard (eye) suffered a corneal abrasion during the team's walkthrough Friday, Aug. 18, and did not travel with the team for their preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. The Bears believe Howard's injury is minor.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should monitor the situation to see when Howard will be able to return to the field, but he likely will be back before the start of the regular season. Howard is coming off an outstanding 2016 season and will continue to be a focal point of the team's offense. He should be considered a solid No. 1 running back in most fantasy leagues.
