Whigham plans to appeal the fine. "I told them I play on third down," he said. "On third down, I've got to look up the No. 1 receiver for a six cut. We'll see what happens."

He leveled Dolphins WR Albert Johnson on an incomplete pass across the middle. After the play he celebrated the hit a little too much for the NFL. Whigham said he will appeal.
