Updating a previous report, Josh Poltilove, of The Tampa Tribune, reports former NFL RB Rabih Abdullah was arrested Wednesday, May 7, on an outstanding warrant for driving with a license canceled, suspended or revoked. Abdullah remains in jail Thursday, May 8, and his bail was set at $500.

Florida Today's Tampa Bay's 10 is reporting former NFL RB Rabih Abdullah was arrested Sunday evening, June 4, on DUI charges. Police arrested him as he appeared to be driving erratically on a Tampa street. He failed a field sobriety test. A search of his 2004 BMW revealed a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, a set of brass knuckles, and a small amount of marijuana. He refused a breathalyzer exam at the police station. He was charged with DUI, carrying a concealed firearm, and possession of marijuana.

"I thought he did a really good job of covering kickoffs," Belichick said. "He was on the kickoff team and the punt return team. I thought he did a nice job and showed some toughness. He showed good speed getting down there. His first game, he had a small role in the game, and I thought he did alright with it."

The Chicago Tribune reports Chicago Bears RB Rabih Abdullah pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence Tuesday, Feb. 3. He was sentenced to a year's probation and was ordered to pay $1,244 in fines and court costs. He must also attend an alcohol and substance abuse program and a victim's impact panel. Prosecutors agreed to drop two other charges, which consisted of leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane usage, if Abdullah pays his fines by April 20 and doesn't get in trouble during his year of probation.

Updating previous reports, David Haugh, of the Chicago Tribune, reports the Illinois State Police have said that a blood-alcohol test showed Chicago Bears RB Rabih Abdullah's blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit when he crashed his car after an alleged hit-and-run on Tuesday, Oct. 7, morning. Charges are currently pending.

Updating previous reports, Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears RB Rabih Abdullah made a formal apology on Wednesday, Oct. 8, for his actions Monday night. "I would just like to apologize to my teammates, my coaches, my family, my wife," Abdullah said. "I take full responsibility for any repercussions from this. I know what it takes to win in the NFL and what I did was obviously a distraction and I don't want to distract my teammates or hinder them in any kind of way. I just apologize to everybody involved." Abdullah was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident on Monday night.

Chicago Bears RB Rabih Abdullah (concussion) was involved in a car accident early Tuesday morning. Abdullah was taken to a local hospital where it was determined he suffered a concussion. No other injuries were identified, but he will remain under hospital observation until at least Wednesday. "We are still gathering information regarding the accident," Bears general manager Jerry Angelo said. "Our top concern is Rabih's health and well-being."

According to the Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Bears rookie RB Adrian Peterson is in the mix to serve as a backup behind starter Anthony Thomas. RBs Leon Johnson and Rabih Abdullah are also in the mix. RBs coach Earle Mosley said Peterson has been working hard to make the transition to the Bears' offense after playing in an unconventional spread offense in college. He's just now learning how to lineup in a two-point stance.
