Broncos | Trevor Siemian benched

Wed, 01 Nov 2017 08:13:14 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian was benched for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian has had some bad luck, and it certainly isn't all on him. He can be dropped in most formats as Paxton Lynch may be the next up if Osweiler falters.

Broncos | Denver QB change unclear

Tue, 31 Oct 2017 07:35:09 -0700

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos QB Brock Osweiler would be the replacement for QB Trevor Siemian, according to sources for NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported QB Paxton Lynch likely would be the starter, if the team made a move. Rapoport points out that Lynch has three practices in the new offense.

Fantasy Tip: Regardless of whether it is Lynch or Osweiler, it appears the Broncos are ready to move on from Siemian. The takeaway for fantasy purposes is rather meaningless: All three of these guys are not quality starters, and the passing game as a whole will continue to struggle.

Broncos | Paxton Lynch to start?

Tue, 31 Oct 2017 06:40:11 -0700

The Denver Broncos are considering a quarterback change, but if the team benches QB Trevor Siemian then QB Paxton Lynch would go in.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos need some sort of spark, and they're not getting it from Siemian. The signal-caller has regressed badly in his second season under center, prompting the questions to start. If Lynch is called on, wait to see how he does in his first start. If you own Brock Osweiler in deep leagues, you might as well punt.

Broncos | Trevor Siemian tosses three picks on MNF

Mon, 30 Oct 2017 20:45:31 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian completed 19 of 36 passes for 198 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions in the team's Week 8 game Monday, Oct. 30, against the Kansas City Chiefs. He also gained 20 rushing yards on two attempts.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian's steady decline as of late continued in this one, as he couldn't get anything going opposite the rival Chiefs on the road. In fact, his only touchdown came in garbage time with the game basically out of reach. It's the third straight game Siemian has registered more interceptions than touchdowns, and if this continues, his days might be numbered as Denver's starter. At the moment, he's only an option for two-quarterback formats.

Broncos | Denver not benching Trevor Siemian

Mon, 23 Oct 2017 13:28:08 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian will remain the Broncos' starting quarterback going forward, according to head coach Vance Joseph. "He's our quarterback. He can't play well if he's not being protected," Joseph said.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian has had a disappointing 2017 campaign thus far. After throwing six touchdowns and just two interceptions in Denver's first two games, he has since thrown two touchdowns and five interceptions. The Broncos have had issues on the offensive line, though. And either way, Siemian wasn't going to be a viable No. 1 fantasy quarterback.

Broncos | Trevor Siemian throws for 207 yards

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 20:10:36 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian completed 25 of his 35 pass attempts for 207 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in the Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian was harassed all day, and he was sacked five times while also losing a fumble. The Broncos offense has really struggled and Siemian has went from four touchdowns and talk of the town in Week 2 to two TDs and five INTs over the past four games and on the hot seat.

Broncos | Trevor Siemian takes part in practice

Fri, 20 Oct 2017 15:37:27 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Trevor Siemian (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Siemian is coming off a 376-yard performance last week but has thrown two touchdowns and four interceptions over the last four games. He will be facing a solid Los Angeles Chargers pass defense this week and probably can be benched in most fantasy leagues.
