Cardinals | David Johnson with lofty goals

Thu, 17 May 2018 07:54:41 -0700

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (wrist) said his wrist feels great, and he's aiming for 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards.

Fantasy Tip: The team will be deploying a fullback this year, which will give him an added layer of protection. They'll have to prove that they can move the ball downfield to keep defenses honest, though. Sam Bradford throws a ton of short passes, and DJ should be an RB1 as long as he's healthy.

Cardinals | David Johnson officially cleared

Mon, 02 Apr 2018 23:35:04 -0700

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (wrist) has officially been medically cleared and will not be limited when the club begins their offseason program.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson missed all but one game a year ago but it looks like he'll be ready to roll at full health going into the new campaign. Considering his tremendous second season when he totaled 20 touchdowns, rushed for 1,239 yards on 293 carries and accumulated 879 more yards through the air on 80 catches, Johnson still merits a very early pick in fantasy drafts.

Cardinals | David Johnson should be ready for OTAs

Tue, 27 Mar 2018 05:15:42 -0700

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (wrist) is expected to be cleared in time for organized team activities next month, according to head coach Steve Wilks.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson will be returning to a different situation with a new head coach and Sam Bradford, who is always hurt, under center. The latter could be good for Johnson because Bradford does a lot of dink-and-dunk passing, which could bring DJ back to a high-end RB1 quickly in PPR formats.
