Eagles | Nelson Agholor quiet in blowout win

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 18:04:52 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor posted just two receptions for 36 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor's line was disappointing to fantasy owners considering his team posted 51 points, and he was unable to party in the end zone. He'll look to bounce back in Week 11 after the team's bye.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor posts 26 yards

Sun, 29 Oct 2017 16:30:06 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor racked up three receptions for 26 yards on three targets in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor was unable to extend his scoring streak to four games, but he has at least three receptions in each of his five outings. After being a bit of a disappointment from a fantasy perspective in his first couple of seasons, Agholor has emerged as a dependable WR3 in most fantasy formats.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor continues breakout year

Mon, 23 Oct 2017 21:07:34 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor caught four of five targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 7 game Monday, Oct. 23, opposite the Washington Redskins.

Fantasy Tip: For the third straight game, Agholor made it into the end zone, and he now has five touchdowns on the campaign, which is just remarkable considering he had three touchdowns combined in his first two years in the league. With Carson Wentz posting an MVP-caliber season thus far, Agholor has vaulted into an acceptable WR3 option for most leagues.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor adds another TD

Thu, 12 Oct 2017 22:25:53 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor caught four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown on Thursday, Oct. 12. He was targeted seven times against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor continues to emerge as a real weapon in Philly's attack, scoring for the second straight week and fourth time this season. He's not getting the volume of looks that you'd like, but he could certainly be slotted into your WR3 or flex slot to cover byes.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor productive in Week 5

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 14:47:12 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor caught four passes for 93 yards and one touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor has played well at times this season and has three touchdowns in five games. He has only received more than four targets in one of the last four games but has a chance to be a flex option in deeper leagues against the Carolina Panthers.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor back to normal

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 16:29:56 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor posted just two catches for 20 yards on three targets in Week 3 against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor was back to his normal, unproductive self, and that's not good for fantasy owners who rolled the dice on him late on draft day or as a FAAB budget killer after Week 1. Treat him as a WR4 or flex play heading into Week 4 against the Chargers.

Eagles | New stance helping Nelson Agholor

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 20:46:57 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor said his stance has become more consistent, allowing him to be more explosive off the line and improving his timing with QB Carson Wentz.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor is coming off a big Week 1, and the arrow is suddenly pointing up after two disappointing years. It's tough to start him against the Chiefs in Week 2 with only a one-game sample size working in his favor, but he has long-term potential as a WR3.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor posts solid Week 1

Sun, 10 Sep 2017 13:54:39 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor reeled in a 58-yard touchdown pass and had six catches for 86 yards in a 30-17 win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Sept. 10.

Fantasy Tip: The third-year receiver is showing signs of fitting in well with Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense. Sure, two-thirds of his yards came on one pass, but that would give him nice scoring in yardage leagues. Agholor was a WR4 entering the season, but he could rise up that depth chart quickly given he played well enough in preseason to send Jordan Matthews to Buffalo.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor generating more buzz

Sat, 05 Aug 2017 08:53:47 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor has had "a total rebirth" and will "live in the slot" and be the Eagles' slot receiver in 2017, according to NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah - a former scout for the team who visited training camp earlier in the week.

Fantasy Tip: The praise has been consistent all offseason for Agholor, and Jeremiah may be the most respected football mind of the bunch who has chimed in about him. Agholor may be making Jordan Matthews expendable. With Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith seemingly locked into starting jobs on the outside, it leaves Matthews without a role if Jeremiah is right. At this point, Agholor needs to be thrown into the WR4 conversation while the team decides what it wants to do with Matthews.

Eagles | Nelson Agholor enjoyed 'great spring'

Wed, 26 Jul 2017 10:11:35 -0700

Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor had a "great spring in slot and outside," according to offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor has been a big disappointment through two seasons, but he is only 24 and has flashed during the preseason. He worked as the slot receiver with the first-team offense this spring with Jordan Matthews sidelined and may continue to do so if Matthews (knee) remains limited in training camp. Agholor does not need to be drafted in the majority of leagues, but his progress should be monitored, particularly if Matthews' situation doesn't improve.
