Chargers | Melvin Gordon finds end zone

Sat, 18 Aug 2018 22:43:27 -0700

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon rushed 10 times for 35 yards and a touchdown in the preseason win Saturday, Aug. 18 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon had a pretty hefty workload for the preseason, especially considering his injury history. Those who have already drafted him were likely cringing on every hit. He is a top-tier fantasy running back and he might be in line for more catches out of the backfield, too.

Sat, 09 Jun 2018 20:41:10 -0700

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon has never averaged more than 3.9 yards per rush in his first three NFL seasons.

Fantasy Tip: On the plus side, Gordon has averaged more than 284 touches per year, proving to be one of the few every-down, workhorse backs. Efficiency doesn't matter was much when he is touching the ball around 300 times. Don't hesitate to grab him as a RB1.

Chargers | Bolts looking to help Melvin Gordon

Tue, 27 Feb 2018 20:49:42 -0800

The Los Angeles Chargers would like to help RB Melvin Gordon with a stable of running backs with different skill sets, and they might be looking for a bigger, more powerful back to spell Gordon during the year.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon is a fantasy stud, but he has been dinged up during his NFL career. Austin Ekeler is a nice change of pace option, but the team might be looking for a bruiser in the draft or free agency to take some of the weight off of Gordon's shoulders. He'll still be a fantasy stud, however.
