Chargers | Melvin Gordon's option picked up

Mon, 23 Apr 2018 15:58:31 -0700

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon's fifth-year option is being picked up Monday, April 23, according to general manager Tom Telesco.

Fantasy Tip: When Gordon is at full health he's one of the most dangerous multip-purpose running backs in the NFL. He deserves to be one of the first half dozen players drafted at his position.

Chargers | Bolts looking to help Melvin Gordon

Tue, 27 Feb 2018 20:49:42 -0800

The Los Angeles Chargers would like to help RB Melvin Gordon with a stable of running backs with different skill sets, and they might be looking for a bigger, more powerful back to spell Gordon during the year.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon is a fantasy stud, but he has been dinged up during his NFL career. Austin Ekeler is a nice change of pace option, but the team might be looking for a bruiser in the draft or free agency to take some of the weight off of Gordon's shoulders. He'll still be a fantasy stud, however.

Chargers | Melvin Gordon listed as questionable

Fri, 29 Dec 2017 12:56:44 -0800

Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon (ankle) is expected to play Week 17 against the Oakland Raiders despite being listed as questionable on the injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has been limited in practice each of the last two days and is at risk to suffer an in-game setback, but he'll give it a go in a must-win game for the Chargers. With Austin Ekeler nursing a hand injury and Branden Oliver showing absolutely nothing in relief this season, Gordon could pay off in a big way for risk-taking fantasy owners this week. He should be considered a top-10 play as usual in Week 17.
