The Baltimore Orioles finalized their playoff roster prior to the American League Wild Card game Tuesday, Oct. 4, against the Toronto Blue Jays. Players left off the Wild Card roster and reassigned to the minors include C Francisco Pena, OF Dariel Alvarez, SS Paul Janish, OF Christian Walker, and P's Vance Worley, Mike Wright, Jayson Aquino, Parker Bridwell, Oliver Drake, Yovani Gallardo, Jason Garcia, Kevin Gausman, T.J. McFarland, Wade Miley and Tyler Wilson.

Boston Red Sox P Jason Garcia (elbow), who is coming off of Tommy John surgery one year ago, has wowed scouts in the Instructional League with his speed. Garcia threw up to 98 miles an hour with his changeup and struck out Baltimore Orioles 1B Chris Davis, who was working in Florida during his suspension.
