The Chicago Sun Times speculates Chicago Bears OLG Rex Tucker will be the next member of the team to receive a long-term extension. Tucker, entering the final year of his deal with the team, may be the most logical choice because Bears' ORT James Williams is entering his 12th season and his contract, along with that of ORG Chris Villarrial, expires after 2003. Tucker's agent, Joe Coletta, said he's touched base with the Bears but that's as far as it's gone so far. Tucker will likely be looking for a deal in the six-year, $26.25 million range that Pittsburgh game OG Alan Faneca earlier this year.
