The Chicago Sun Times reports newly signed FB Charles Kirby might have a good chance at making the Chicago Bears roster because the Bears will need a blocking fullback the first three games of the season while FB Daimon Shelton serves a drug suspension. Kirby's deal was a two-year contract with no signing bonus.

Associated Press reports the Chicago Bears have signed FB Charles Kirby, undrafted LB Kiah Johnson (Texas A&M), WR Jerris Evans (Missouri Southern) and CB Travis Coleman to their training camp roster.
