Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports free agent G Chris Dishman (knees) suffered an assortment of knee injuries during the 2004 season, but still wants to return to play next season. "He's planning on coming back," said Dishman's agent, Craig Domann. "With the Rams, they've got some young players (at guard). So I think what will happen is that after the dust settles on free agency, and more than likely after the draft, we'll be talking about if they want to bring him in." Dishman underwent reconstructive knee surgery in early January, and is progressing well according to Domann.

St. Louis Rams OG Chris Dishman is eligible for free agency, according to Nick Wagoner of StLouisRams.com, though there is a possibility that he could retire.

St. Louis Rams OG Chris Dishman (knee) will undergo reconstructive knee surgery shortly after the end of the 2004 season. He is expected to need at least nine months to recover from the surgery.
