Chicago Cubs SP Dallas Beeler will start against the Colorado Rockies Tuesday, July 28.
Fantasy Tip: Beeler last made a spot start July 22 and allowed three earned runs in just two innings against the Cincinnati Reds. Against the dangerous Rockies lineup, Beeler should be avoided on FantasyScore in this spot start.

Chicago Cubs SP Dallas Beeler will start the second game of the doubleheader against the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday, July 22.
Fantasy Tip: Beeler ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) looked the part of a low-end fantasy option in his first start this season, as he went five innings with six strikeouts while allowing two runs on four hits and two walks. He is nothing more than a dice roll for FantasyScore contests Wednesday, though.

Chicago Cubs SP Jake Arrieta is starting the first game and SP Dallas Beeler is starting the second game of the doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday, July 7.
Fantasy Tip: Arrieta ($9,100, 18.2% of cap) has found his groove with a 0.75 ERA and 21 strikeouts through 24 innings over his past three starts. During the run, he has held opposing hitters to a .408 OPS and he is a top-tier FantasyScore option Tuesday. Beeler is nothing more than a high-risk flier, and FantasyScore players, along with seasonal owners, should likely aim higher.

Beeler allowed four hits and an unearned run over six innings, taking the loss.
