Chicago Cubs C Kyle Schwarber could be a player recalled when rosters expand in September, according to manager Joe Maddon.
Fantasy Tip: The fourth overall selection in the 2014 amateur draft, Schwarber is currently hitting .305 with a 1.035 OPS through 41 games at Class AA Tennessee. He has 25 runs, 10 home runs and 26 RBI, too. The caveat here is Schwarber holds catcher eligibility, and could help down the stretch in deep formats. At this point, he is just a name to take note of and monitor in all one-year leagues. Still, dynasty/keeper owners might have a speculative grab on their hands sooner than later, especially those rebuilding.

Chicago Cubs C/OF Kyle Schwarber was promoted from Class A Kane County to Single-A Daytona Monday, July 14. This will be Schwarber's second promotion since the Cubs made him their first-round pick Thursday, June 5.
Fantasy Tip: Schwarber was largely considered the best power hitter in the 2014 MLB Draft. He has the stick to be in Chicago for a late-season audition in 2015.

The Chicago Cubs selected Indiana C Kyle Schwarber with the fourth overall pick in the MLB Draft Thursday, June 5.
Fantasy Tip: Schwarber was a bit of a surprise this early in the top-10 picks, but he has perhaps the best raw power of any of the prospects in this year's draft. He says he models his game after Joey Votto. Chicago is quickly developing plenty of prospects with major pop.
