Sat, 13 Jun 2015 11:01:29 -0700

New York Giants WR Dwayne Harris is expected to be the team's No. 4 wide receiver, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.com. WRs Corey Washington, Preston Parker, Marcus Harris and Julian Talley will also be in the mix. Graziano added that if Parker makes the final roster, he could be the No. 4 wide receiver.

Giants | NY committed to Rueben Randle?

Mon, 23 Feb 2015 10:17:09 -0800

New York Giants WR Rueben Randle appears to have the commitment from the team heading into next season after being benched twice in 2014. However, general manager Jerry Reese left open the possibility that the team could draft another receiver this year. "I think Rueben gets banged on a lot. Sometimes he should get banged on, but I think he gets banged on sometimes a little too much," Reese said. "I think he is a good, young player and all he needs are some chances. With Odell and Victor, I think he will get plenty of chances." WRs Preston Parker, Corey Washington or Marcus Harris could be backup plans if Randle doesn't pan out.

Fantasy Tip: Randle will have his work cut out for him in retaining the No. 3 receiving job behind Victor Cruz and rookie sensation Odell Beckham Jr. Keep an eye on Randle's health and progress in training camp. If he sticks in the No. 3 spot, he could be a solid option as a WR4 or 5 to round out your receiving depth.

Giants | Corey Washington needs improvement

Wed, 22 Oct 2014 21:59:39 -0700

New York Giants WR Corey Washington has few targets, zero catches and he was inactive in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys. Receivers coach Sean Ryan said Wednesday, Oct. 22, Washington has disappeared after his big preseason because he is still raw. "He's learning to run an entire route tree," Ryan said. "There is growing to be done with Corey. He works on his releases, his routes, his tops of the breaks, getting out of those -- things he needs to improve on. That is where he is right now. He's a work in progress."

Giants | Giants comfortable with WR options

Tue, 14 Oct 2014 10:07:20 -0700

New York Giants WRs Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham Jr. are acceptable options to replace WR Victor Cruz (knee), according to head coach Tom Coughlin, with WR Preston Parker in the slot position. The Giants are content in not trading for another receiver from outside the organization. The only other healthy receiver on the current roster is WR Corey Washington.

Fantasy Tip: Randle, Beckham and Parker will see increased opportunities in the offense moving forward with Cruz out for the season. That'll boost their values, but there could be growing pains with these young receivers as they're given more attention from opponents.

Giants | Odell Beckham could play the slot

Mon, 13 Oct 2014 13:06:08 -0700

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. could move to the slot with WR Victor Cruz (knee) out for the season, but Beckham has never played the position. WR Preston Parker filled in in the slot in Week 6 when Cruz was injured, and he can play on the outside, too. WR Corey Washington has worked exclusively on the outside and could see some more opportunities in the offense with Cruz out.

Fantasy Tip: After a fine season debut in Week 5, Beckham had just two catches (four targets) for 28 yards in the Week 6 loss. He'll have his ups and downs, especially if he moves to the slot to learn a new position. All of the Giants receivers will see a boost in value with Cruz out, and Parker is worth a look on the waiver wire in deeper leagues.

Sat, 30 Aug 2014 06:10:37 -0700

New York Giants WR Corey Washington made it onto the 53-man roster.

Fantasy Tip: Keep a casual fantasy eye on Washington. He was one of the Giants' best players of the preseason and could see more work if any of the starters struggle.

Giants | Receivers inconsistent

Tue, 19 Aug 2014 08:19:25 -0700

New York Giants WRs Victor Cruz, Rueben Randle, Jerrel Jernigan and Mario Manningham have not made many big plays this preseason. Cruz initially caught a long play-action pass Saturday, Aug. 16, but dropped it. Randle has one catch for 12 yards in three games. Jernigan has not carried over his momentum from late last season, per head coach Tom Coughlin, and also dropped a throw from Eli Manning Saturday. Corey Washington has three touchdowns but received fewer first-string practice reps than Manningham in first-string practice reps Monday, Aug. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Add in Odell Beckham Jr.'s injury, and there's little reason to believe in this offense right now. At least this may make them cheaper fantasy options.

Giants | Mario Manningham fighting for roster spot

Wed, 13 Aug 2014 15:17:40 -0700

New York Giants WR Mario Manningham is fighting for a roster spot in training camp. Manningham has not looked healthy in practice, in the opinion of Dan Graziano of ESPN.com. Since Manningham signed, the team drafted WR Odell Beckham Jr. and has had good performances from WR Marcus Harris and WR Corey Washington in training camp.

New York Giants WR Corey Washington reportedly put on a show in practice Monday, Aug. 11, as he took advantage of several absences at wide receiver.

Fantasy Tip: He's not draftable at this point, but Washington is a name to keep an eye on if any of the Giants' starting receivers are out for an extended period of time.
