Mariners | Roenis Elias update

Fri, 08 Aug 2014 14:27:28 -0700

Updating a previous report, Seattle Mariners SP Roenis Elias is expected to rejoin the team during their series against the Philadelphia Phillies, which begins Monday, Aug. 18. Manager Lloyd McClendon noted the organization was monitoring Elias' innings.

Fantasy Tip: Elias was demoted to Triple-A Tacoma in an effort to limit his innings. He is pacing rookies in innings pitched and starts this season, after all. In deep formats and AL-only leagues, he is worth holding onto.

Tue, 15 Apr 2014 06:06:40 -0700

Fantasy Tip: He's a player we've targeted on waivers in AL-only leagues, and he should be owned in all AL-only leagues. He's starting to make his way onto the fringe in mixed leagues as well.
