Jaguars | Keelan Cole in starting lineup

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 09:21:32 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Keelan Cole will start in place of injured WR Allen Hurns (ankle) for Week 11's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Tip: Cole has been targeted 13 times in the last two weeks and has six receptions for 108 yards over that span. He could be worth rostering in deeper seasonal fantasy leagues.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns out for Week 11

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 09:15:31 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Tip: Hurns' absence should lock Marqise Lee into at least seven targets, although highly graded Browns cornerback Jason McCourty could chase him from time to time. Thus, the door is open for Keelan Cole and Dede Westbrook - if active - to have a fantasy-worthy impact on the game, especially since Cleveland's run defense has been so good in 2017.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns ruled out for Week 11

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 19:00:16 -0800

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for the team's Week 11 game Sunday, Nov. 19, against the Cleveland Browns. He injured his ankle late in regulation Sunday, Nov. 12, versus the Los Angeles Chargers, and head coach Doug Marrone said it is "unclear" when Hurns will be ready to play again.

Fantasy Tip: This is a tough blow for a Jaguars offense that is already limited in their passing game. However, if there's a silver lining, it's that Dede Westbrook should finally get a chance to show what he can do, as the 2017 fourth-round draft pick figures to be activated from the injured reserve list ahead of Sunday's contest. Marqise Lee is the safest play this weekend from Jacksonville's air attack but Westbrook could present the most value for owners in Week 11.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns unlikely to play

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 13:39:03 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (ankle) likely will not play in Week 11 because of the ankle injury he suffered in Week 10, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should check later in the week to make sure Hurns is ruled out for the game. Dede Westbrook has a chance to return to the lineup in Week 11 and could receive a decent amount of playing time. Owners in deeper leagues should consider adding Westbrook if they have the roster space.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns in a walking boot

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 18:08:43 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (foot) exited against the Los Angeles Chargers with a foot injury in Week 10, and he was wearing a walking boot on his right foot and using crutches after the game.

Fantasy Tip: If Hurns misses time, it should ensure that Marqise Lee continues to deliver W3 production moving forward. Meanwhile, Keelan Cole and Dede Westbrook could be worth grabbing if you need receiver depth.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns finishes with 31 yards

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 15:06:22 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns caught three passes for 31 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.

Fantasy Tip: Hurns was coming off a terrific Week 7 performance but has been held to under 40 yards in four of his last six games. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues next week against the Los Angeles Chargers but can also stay on the bench if owners have better options.
