Cardinals | Headaches linger for John Brown

Mon, 29 Aug 2016 13:13:39 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) is still having headaches, but he is making progress, according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Fantasy Tip: Brown has not played yet during the preseason and he could be iffy for Week 1 if this trend continues. He really came onto the scene last year and is a low-end WR2 consideration after tallying over 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns in 2015 despite being the Cardinals' No. 3 wide receiver.

Cardinals | John Brown not playing

Sun, 28 Aug 2016 12:47:18 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) will not play against the Houston Texans Sunday, Aug. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Brown's concussion symptoms have lingered, and he probably won't see any action until the regular season begins, assuming he's OK to play then. If he can play all 16 games, he has the ability to achieve WR2 status again this season.

Cardinals | John Brown practicing

Thu, 25 Aug 2016 11:25:10 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) is participating in practice Thursday, Aug. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Brown has been dealing with head injuries for the past few weeks, so he probably will be eased back into practice. Brown should receive plenty of targets this season and can be a low-end No. 2 or a high-end No. 3 receiver in leagues.

Cardinals | John Brown not practicing

Wed, 24 Aug 2016 14:03:23 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) is not participating in practice Wednesday, Aug. 24, because he is dealing with a headache.

Fantasy Tip: Brown is working his way back from a concussion and will be held out until he is healthy. He will have a few weeks to recover before the start of the season, so owners should monitor the situation. He is part of one of the better receiver corps in the NFL and should be considered a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

Cardinals | John Brown cleared to return

Sun, 21 Aug 2016 14:44:25 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) was cleared to practice on Sunday, Aug. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Brown has been sidelined nearly three weeks after reportedly hitting his head on the turf late last month. He should be in line to see some snaps against the Houston Texans next Sunday. While "Smokey" is the least highly regarded of the Cardinals' three top receivers, he might be the safest bet of the bunch for 1,000 yards receiving this year and is arguably the most explosive of the bunch. He's a high-upside WR3 in most drafts.

Cardinals | John Brown still in protocol

Tue, 16 Aug 2016 13:01:08 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) still has not cleared the concussion protocol. The Cardinals remain concerned and are being cautious with Brown, according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Fantasy Tip: Concussions are tricky in the NFL, as has been well documented. The Cardinals won't take any risks until Brown is cleared. The shifty receiver is an integral part of the Arizona's prolific passing attack. He'll remain a WR2 option as long as he's good to go for the start of the regular season.

Cardinals | John Brown won't play

Tue, 09 Aug 2016 11:34:12 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) will not play in the Cardinals' first preseason game Friday, Aug. 12, against the Oakland Raiders even if he is cleared to do so.

Fantasy Tip: Not a big deal. The Cardinals will take it easy with their breakout receiver from a year ago. He may be the third wide receiver on the team, but he may be the most valuable No. 3 wide receiver in the entire league. If Brown doesn't see any setbacks between now and Week 1, he can be taken as a low-end WR2 to high-end WR3.

Cardinals | John Brown still in protocol

Thu, 04 Aug 2016 14:21:25 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) is still in the concussion protocol, according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Fantasy Tip: It's unclear if Brown will be ready to play in the preseason opener, but the Cardinals won't take any chances. Brown is primed to have another solid year after a breakout 2015 campaign. Draft him in WR2 territory in standard leagues.

Cardinals | John Brown in concussion protocol

Mon, 01 Aug 2016 11:09:39 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (concussion) will not participate in practice Monday, Aug. 1, because he is taking part in the concussion protocol.

Fantasy Tip: Brown will have to pass his concussion tests before he is able to play again, so the Cardinals can take their time with him. Brown should receive plenty of targets in the Cardinals' high-powered passing game and should be a middle-round option in all leagues.

Cardinals | John Brown under the radar

Tue, 28 Jun 2016 15:09:28 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown finished the 2015 season with 1,003 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ranked 22nd in standard scoring formats among wide receivers last year, but he's currently the 32nd receiver off draft boards. Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd will get their share of targets, but Brown deserves more attention heading into 2016 in one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL.

Cardinals | John Brown listed as probable

Fri, 22 Jan 2016 13:29:39 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 22, and is listed as probable for the NFC Championship game against the Carolina Panthers Sunday, Jan. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) should see his usual targets during the game and is looking to improve on his 82-yard outing in the divisional round. Brown could be a solid starting option for owners on FantasyScore.

Cardinals | Limited practice for two Cardinals

Thu, 21 Jan 2016 14:02:32 -0800

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (toe) and WR John Brown (shoulder) were limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Like the rest of the Arizona's offense, Johnson ($7,000, 14.0% of cap) is facing a tough test in the Carolina Panthers this weekend. He may not find as much running room as he'd like to, but the Panthers allowed the second most catches to running backs this season (110), and Johnson is more than a capable pass-catcher out of the backfield. He's still in RB1 territory for your playoff matchup. Brown is a viable starting option, too, and is definitely worth rostering in one of the three FantasyScore wide receiver positions.

Cardinals | John Brown looks to keep going

Wed, 20 Jan 2016 19:16:52 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown totaled 84 total yards from scrimmage in the win last weekend against the Green Bay Packers, now he'll face the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24. The Panthers ranked 11th in the NFL against the pass, giving up 234.5 yards per game with 21 passing scores.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) has been productive despite having to share targets with Larry Fitzgerald ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) and Michael Floyd ($7,700, 15.4% of cap), At a mid-tier price, especially with just two games to choose from, he is a decent WR3 or flex play in FantasyScore.

Cardinals | David Johnson, John Brown limited

Wed, 20 Jan 2016 13:52:54 -0800

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (toe) and WR John Brown (shoulder) were limited in practice Wednesday, Jan. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($7,000, 14.0% of cap) and Brown ($6,400, 12.8%) should still be able to play as long as they don't suffer any setbacks. Johnson really struggled last week against the Green Bay Packers, and he may not find much running room versus a stingy Carolina Panthers defense either. Brown tallied five catches for 82 yards last week and is still a viable option as one of your three FantasyScore wide receivers.

Cardinals | John Brown goes over 1,000 yards

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 15:37:38 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown went over 1,000 receiving yards for the season in the Week 17 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: Despite the re-emergence of Larry Fitzgerald this season, and the strong play of Michael Floyd, Brown has clearly been a strong fantasy option this season.

Cardinals | John Brown hurt by drops

Mon, 21 Dec 2015 16:11:03 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown dropped two potential touchdown passes in the Week 15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. However, QB Carson Palmer didn't second guess Brown and went back to him in the second half, as Brown had three catches for 38 yards and a touchdown. "I told him, I'm going to keep going to you. You're eventually going to make the plays we expect you to make and he did," Palmer said.

Fantasy Tip: It's a testament to Brown that Palmer went back to him after he blew two big catches. Brown's speed makes him a threat to score on any given play, but he's tough to rely on for consistency in point-per-reception leagues like FantasyScore.

Cardinals | John Brown gets into end zone

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 21:12:22 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown posted three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Brown was targeted a team-high nine times.

Fantasy Tip: Carson Palmer was definitely looking Brown's way, but he had a drop or two and on a few other occasions they just weren't on the same page. He could be a solid fantasy option down the stretch if the team elects to rest some starters.

Cardinals | Three AZ WRs probable for Week 14

Wed, 09 Dec 2015 13:20:59 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs Larry Fitzgerald (ankle), John Brown (hamstring) and Michael Floyd participated fully in practice Wednesday, Dec. 9, and are listed as probable for Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: The Minnesota Vikings, Arizona's opponent this week, have been pretty average defensively against wide receivers this year, but the Cardinals have one of the most prolific passing attacks in football. Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8% of cap), Floyd ($6,000, 12.0%) and Brown ($5,100, 10.2%) each did well last week, but Fitzgerald is the most consistent of the three.

Cardinals | Three AZ wide receivers limited

Tue, 08 Dec 2015 13:58:59 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs Larry Fitzgerald (ankle), John Brown (hamstring) and Michael Floyd (hamstring) were limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Fitzgerald, Brown ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) and Floyd ($6,000, 12.0%) were able to play last week, and they played well. It would be a surprise to see any of them sit in Week 14, but they should be monitored throughout the week to be sure. Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8%) is the most consistent of the three, but they're all worth consideration for FantasyScore lineups.

Cardinals | Arizona's top three WRs limited

Mon, 07 Dec 2015 16:28:16 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring), Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and Michael Floyd (hamstring) were limited during practice Monday, Dec. 7.

Fantasy Tip: All three receivers were able to play against the St. Louis Rams in Week 13 and each caught at least six passes. Fitzgerald is currently leading the team in receiving yards, but Brown and Floyd are also value pieces to the passing game. Fantasy owners should consider all three as starting options against the Minnesota Vikings Thursday, Dec. 10.

Cardinals | John Brown, Michael Floyd hit 100

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 17:38:33 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) posted six receptions for 113 yards in the Week 13 game against the St. Louis Rams, and WR Michael Floyd (hamstring) posted seven grabs for 104 yards on a team-high 12 targets.

Fantasy Tip: Browns and Floyd had been dealing with hamstring injuries in recent weeks, but both certainly looked back to 100 percent in this one. It appears safe to get them back into the active lineup in all fantasy formats.

Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown probable

Fri, 04 Dec 2015 14:18:39 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and John Brown (hamstring) are both listed as probable against the St. Louis Rams in Week 13. Fitzgerald put in a full practice Friday, Dec. 4, while Brown was limited.

Fantasy Tip: The Rams are the third-toughest matchup for wide receivers, so paying up for Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) is a bit risky. However, the Cardinals are likely to throw a lot due to injuries in their backfield. Brown ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) has a great chance of returning value if Michael Floyd doesn't play.

Cardinals | Three Arizona receivers limited

Thu, 03 Dec 2015 14:43:33 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring), Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and Michael Floyd (hamstring) were all limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 3.

Fantasy Tip: The St. Louis Rams allow the third-fewest PPR fantasy points (27.2) per game to receivers this year, so beyond Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8% of cap), the Arizona receivers may struggle to return value in daily formats. Floyd ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) put up a dud last week and probably won't be 100%.

Cardinals | Three Arizona receivers limited

Wed, 02 Dec 2015 16:05:23 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring), Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and Michael Floyd (hamstring) were all limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Fantasy Tip: The St. Louis Rams are one of the tougher defense against wide receivers this year, so beyond Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8% of cap), the Cardinals wideouts are risky daily commodities in Week 13. Floyd ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is coming off a stinker, and his health is probably affecting him the most right now.

Cardinals | John Brown just misses 100 yards

Sun, 29 Nov 2015 20:43:37 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) posted five receptions for 99 yards in the Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers. He was targeted seven times.

Fantasy Tip: The good news is that Brown did not show any ill-effects of his hamstring injury. Start him in FantasyScore going forward, especially if Michael Floyd continues to be slowed by injury.

Cardinals | John Brown, Larry Fitzgerald probable

Fri, 27 Nov 2015 15:38:57 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring) and Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) are probable to face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Brown was limited in practice Friday, Nov. 27, while Fitzgerald practiced in full.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) would be a wise value play on FantasyScore if Michael Floyd sits out a second straight game. The Niners have been very beatable through the air all year, making Fitz ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) one of the safer wideout selections.

Cardinals | Four Cardinals limited Thursday

Thu, 26 Nov 2015 13:25:29 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs John Brown (hamstring), Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) and Michael Floyd (hamstring) and RB Chris Johnson (knee) were limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) didn't practice yesterday, so his limited status is still encouraging. Floyd ($6,600, 13.2%) is probably the other bigger question mark, but don't be surprised if they all end up playing. The whole Arizona offense has a tremendous matchup against the 49ers, and Johnson ($7,300, 14.6%) and Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8%) in particular should be seriously considered on FantasyScore.

Cardinals | John Brown absent Wednesday

Wed, 25 Nov 2015 12:11:31 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) may still be receiving rest for the hamstring injury he's been dealing with for a few weeks now. He had somewhat of a rebound last week, including a touchdown, so he shouldn't be overlooked when setting FantasyScore lineups.

Cardinals | John Brown back in the end zone

Sun, 22 Nov 2015 22:30:33 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) posted three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was targeted three times.

Fantasy Tip: Brown shook off a hamstring injury to suit up, and he was explosive at times. As long as Michael Floyd needs time for his hamstring to heal, Brown and JJ Nelson could see more targets.

Cardinals | John Brown active for SNF

Sun, 22 Nov 2015 16:33:10 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is active for the Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: With Michael Floyd sidelined due to a hamstring, John Brown and Jaron Brown are expected to serve as the No. 2 and 3 receivers behind starter Larry Fitzgerald.

Cardinals | John Brown expected to play

Sun, 22 Nov 2015 07:39:58 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 11's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Despite the cap-friendly price, FantasyScore owners should avoid using Brown ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) against a Cincinnati defense that is tied for the third-fewest receiving touchdowns allowed in the NFL. The fact that the Cardinals are playing in the Sunday night game also makes Brown a risky choice this week.

Cardinals | John Brown expects to play

Sat, 21 Nov 2015 10:07:35 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) expects to play in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals, although he is frustrated with his nagging hamstring injury. "I don't feel like the same [player] right now," Brown said. "It's frustrating just to sit out of practice, [and] see my time working hard. I want to be with those guys." Brown has been limited in practice this past week and is listed as questionable.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) is right, he's been a shadow of himself in recent weeks, and he has a tough matchup with the Bengals if/when he does play. An advisable strategy might be to avoid Brown until he's over his hamstring issue and starts producing consistently again.

Cardinals | Michael Floyd, John Brown questionable

Fri, 20 Nov 2015 14:23:22 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WRs Michael Floyd (hamstring) and John Brown (hamstring) are both questionable for Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Floyd missed practice all week and Brown was limited the last two days.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd ($6,600, 13.2% of cap) is too risky in daily formats despite his recent hot streak. He's shaping up to be a game-time decision for the Sunday night tilt. Brown ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) has a better shot to play but is also too risky in the late game. That makes Larry Fitzgerald ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) a much safer FantasyScore pick.

Cardinals | Limited practice for John Brown

Thu, 19 Nov 2015 14:44:40 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 19.

Fantasy Tip: There have been reports that Brown ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) has been playing tentatively in order to avoid aggravating his hamstring injury. He's been nearly non-existent the past few games, and it may not be wise to roster him this week on FantasyScore in a tough matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cardinals | John Brown playing tentatively?

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 22:06:03 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) continues to deal with a hamstring injury, and head coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday, Nov. 18, that it is possible Brown might be worried about tearing the hamstring if he lets loose.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) has been dealing with the hamstring issue for about a month now, and it has been great news for Michael Floyd ($6,600, 13.2% of cap). However, Floyd is now dealing with a hamstring issue of his own.

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 10:54:39 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd (hamstring) and WR John Brown (hamstring) were out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd ($6,600, 13.2% of cap) and Brown ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) face a tough Cincinnati Bengals defense that is top five in defending the position the last five weeks. Monitor their status as the week progresses, but the matchup isn't promising.

Cardinals | John Brown goes without catch

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 22:38:43 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was targeted three times in the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks, but he did not have any receptions.

Fantasy Tip: Avoid Brown in FantasyScore, as he is apparently not 100 percent and he has fallen well behind Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald on the pecking order for targets.

Cardinals | John Brown active for SNF

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 16:27:36 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is active for the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: Brown might be active, but he will be facing the NFL's No. 2 ranked pass defense. Seattle allows just 186.4 yard per game through the air, and they have yielded an NFL-low six touchdown passes through eight games.

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 07:25:34 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is likely to play in Week 10's game against the Seattle Seahawks, although the team would like to see how he performs in pre-game warmups before making a final decision, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore owners may want to avoid using Brown ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) because he's playing in the Sunday night game, while seasonal owners who are considering starting him should have a backup option on their roster in case he is deactivated.

Sat, 14 Nov 2015 09:11:12 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is expected to be a game-time decision for the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to check the inactive list to see if Brown ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) will play. The team will be playing in the night game Sunday, Nov 15, so owners may want to use other options since there would be limited replacements if Brown is inactive.

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 13, and is listed as questionable for the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) could be a game-time decision, so owners will need to check the inactive list to see if he will be able to play. Brown has been dealing with the injury for several weeks and may not be the best option for owners since he is facing a tough Seahawks defense.

Thu, 12 Nov 2015 17:32:33 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) appears to have a good chance to play this week against the Seattle Seahawks after missing time with the injury. Owners may want to look at other options since Brown is coming back from injury and is facing a tough Seahawks defense.

Cardinals | John Brown limited Wednesday

Wed, 11 Nov 2015 15:23:14 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has been battling a hamstring injury for the pas several weeks but has still been productive, catching 10 passes for 196 yards several weeks ago. He draws a tough matchup in the Seattle Seahawks but could still return excellent value if Seattle focuses more on stopping Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd.

Cardinals | Michael Floyd climbing depth chart

Wed, 04 Nov 2015 09:45:28 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd is likely to supplant WR John Brown as the starting wide receiver, according to head coach Bruce Arians. "(Floyd) got hurt, (Brown) took his job, and now he's probably going to take it back," Arians said.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) has earned it, but he'll have to deal with the Legion of Boom and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10 after the bye week.

Cardinals | John Brown didn't see any time

Mon, 02 Nov 2015 17:00:32 -0800

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was active in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns in an emergency, but he never saw any time on the field. Brown said the bye week will allow him to get back to 100%. "At times when we were down, I thought he was going to call me," Brown said. "I was prepared. I was riding that bike because I thought he was going to give me that call."

Fantasy Tip: Brown was a big risk on FantasyScore with the Cardinals leaning toward resting him up before the bye week. That's exactly what they did. Expect him to come out in Week 10 as a strong daily option, and many folks may ignore him after the dud he put up in Week 8.

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 17:17:09 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) wasn't targeted in a 34-20 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) suited up, but he wasn't close to 100%. With a bye week on tap, he should be in better shape when the Cardinals return to action, but make sure to check on his status before considering him at FantasyScore.

Cardinals | John Brown will be in uniform

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 08:50:24 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is officially active for the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Tip: It is not known if Brown's ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) injury will affect his play, so owners should see him as a risky option. Brown should receive several targets during the game and may be worth the risk since he has a favorable matchup.

Cardinals | John Brown appears on track to play

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 07:44:07 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) is expected to play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8, but the team wants to see how he looks during pregame warmups before deciding on his status.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) has missed practice time because of the injury but was able to play last week. Brown would be a risky option if he is active for the game but has a chance to post solid numbers against the Browns.

Cardinals | John Brown returns to practice

Fri, 30 Oct 2015 14:20:46 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Friday, Oct. 30, and he is listed as questionable for the Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns Sunday, Nov. 1.

Fantasy Tip: If active, Brown ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) is a risky start in all fantasy formats, but especially in daily contests. Michael Floyd ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) becomes a huge bargain at FantasyScore if Brown misses the game, and Larry Fitzgerald ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) would project to see an uptick in targets, too. Make sure to check back for an official update on Brown's status Sunday.

Cardinals | John Brown, Darren Fells out Thursday

Thu, 29 Oct 2015 15:45:44 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) and TE Darren Fells (shoulder) both missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Tip: The Cardinals are leaning toward keeping both Brown ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) and Fells ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) out of Week 8 versus the Cleveland Browns. Avoid both, obviously. Michael Floyd ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) becomes a fantastic value pick on FantasyScore if Brown indeed sits, and Larry Fitzgerald ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) should be a safe selection, too.
