Arizona Cardinals impending free-agent WR John Brown plans to sign with the Baltimore Ravens, according to a source.

Ravens | Baltimore negotiating with John Brown

Tue, 13 Mar 2018 14:26:15 -0700

Free-agent WR John Brown (Cardinals) is in serious negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Mike Wallace and Michael Campanaro are both impending free agents, so the Ravens could be due for more depth at the wide receiver position. Brown's deep-threat ability coupled with Joe Flacco's arm strength is an intriguing proposition, but Brown's healthy history makes him a wary fantasy prospect.

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (toe) was able to practice in full on Friday, Dec. 29, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 17 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: Brown appears to be in line to play in the regular-season finale, but he is only worth a look as a WR5 in deeper leagues at this point.

Cardinals | Week 17 injury report for Arizona

Fri, 29 Dec 2017 16:37:56 -0800

Arizona Cardinals LB Josh Bynes (ankle) did not practice Friday, Dec. 29, and he is listed as questionable for Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. RB Elijhaa Penny (hand, groin), OG Earl Watford (ankle) and RB Kerwynn Williams (quadriceps, ribs) were limited and are considered questionable, as is TE Troy Niklas (ankle) who was able to practice in full. WR John Brown (toe), LB Karlos Dansby (not injury related), WR Larry Fitzgerald (not injury related), OG Will Holden (thumb), LB Gabe Martin (hamstring), CB Patrick Peterson (ankle), DE Frostee Rucker (not injury related) and WR Chad Williams (illness) practiced in full and were removed from the report.

Cardinals | John Brown returns to practice Thursday

Thu, 28 Dec 2017 17:18:08 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (toe) returned to practice Thursday, Dec. 28, and was a limited participant.

Fantasy Tip: This indicates that Brown will probably be active for Sunday's season finale opposite the Seahawks, but he's not a strong option at all. Brown's ceiling with Drew Stanton under center is pretty low, and thus, Larry Fitzgerald is really the only receiver worth starting from the Cardinals for Week 17.

Cardinals | John Brown sits out practice Wednesday

Wed, 27 Dec 2017 17:22:16 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (toe) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Fantasy Tip: In his return to action in Week 16, the 27-year-old hauled in two of four targets for 28 yards, while managing to find the end zone for the third time this year. However, with nothing to play for in the season finale, it's possible the Cardinals hold Brown out if this toe injury continues to linger. Even if he does ultimately suit up, he's not a strong option to roll with.
