Pittsburgh Steelers RB Dri Archer (ankle, knee) did not practice Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Fantasy Tip: Archer will cost you the minimum salary ($3,700; 7.4% of cap) at FantasyScore this week, and for good reason. Don't expect Archer to be active on a short week against the Baltimore Ravens after spraining his ankle in Week 1.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Dri Archer (ankle) is considered questionable for Week 2, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Fantasy Tip: Owners should monitor Archer's work during practice this week to get a better idea of his status. He could be held out of the game since the team plays on Thursday. Archer probably should not be in any fantasy lineups this week even if he does play.

Fri, 05 Sep 2014 17:06:22 -0700
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Dri Archer has already developed a reputation as being a jack-of-all-trades throughout the organization. The rookie is eager to show what he can do in his regular season debut in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. "The more you can do, the more chance you'll be on the field," Archer said this week. "That's what I bring to the table is a lot of versatility."

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Dri Archer took a short pass on a bubble screen and turned it into a 46-yard gain during the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 9. He finished with two catches for 50 yards and two carries for nine yards.
Fantasy Tip: Le'Veon Bell is the top dog in Pittsburgh's backfield, and with LeGarrette Blount the likely backup, Archer won't enter the year with a lot of fantasy value. That being said, plays like this show what his speed can add to the offense. If he manages to carve out a consistent role in the passing game, Archer could become a useful option in deeper PPR formats. Keep an eye on him this year to see how his role develops.
