Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett could be the current favorite for the No. 3 wide receiver position because of his varied skill set. WR Donte Moncrief is also competing for the No. 3 spot.
Fantasy Tip: Dorsett has played well this preseason. While he is smaller than Moncrief, Dorsett has a speed advantage. Dorsett and Moncrief both have fantasy value in the Colts' high-octane offense, but Dorsett should be drafted earlier right now.

Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief (groin) will not play in the first preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, Aug. 16.
Fantasy Tip: Moncrief is competing for the No. 3 receiver job, but he will need to return to the field if wants a realistic chance at the job. Moncrief could be a late-round option in deeper leagues if he earns the job during the preseason.

Indianapolis Colts WRs Donte Moncrief, Phillip Dorsett and Duron Carter are candidates of the team's No. 3 wide receiver job, and all three have had positive moments during training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Owners should keep an eye out on the competition during the preseason, because the winner of the job should have a solid role in passing game. Moncrief has a little more experience than the other two, which could give him a little edge. All three could be options in fantasy leagues this season depending on their role.

Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief is a candidate to return kicks this season, according to special teams coach Tom McMahon.
Fantasy Tip: Moncrief should see solid playing time this season but his fantasy value may take a hit since the team has a lot of weapons in the passing game. There is a chance he could win the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp and could be a late-round option in leagues if he receives consistent targets during the season.

Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief is going to have "more opportunities going forward," head coach Chuck Pagano told the team's official website.
Fantasy Tip: Moncrief showed flashes of his potential last season, and with a bigger role in 2015, he should be able to provide WR3 value in the Colts' high-powered passing attack.
Sun, 26 Oct 2014 20:11:29 -0700
Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief posted seven catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fantasy Tip: Moncrief saw his most involvement to date thanks to the absence of Reggie Wayne to injury. He could be a very useful option in FantasyScore leagues if Wayne continues to miss time.

Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief is ahead of schedule in terms of his knowledge of the offense, and the team believes he will perform when he is on the field, according to offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.
Fantasy Tip: Moncrief may become more involved in the passing game as the season moves on and could have an expanded role in Week 8 if Reggie Wayne is not able to play. Moncrief could be considered a flex option in deeper leagues as well as FantasyScore since he only costs $3,000.
Fri, 10 Oct 2014 09:14:33 -0700
Indianapolis Colts WR Hakeem Nicks continued to struggle to gain separation from defenders in Week 6 against the Houston Texans Thursday, Oct. 9. WR Donte Moncrief may start to phase Nicks out of the wide receiver rotation.
Fantasy Tip: Nicks had just two catches (seven targets) for 18 yards last night against the Texans. He hasn't scored since Week 3 and doesn't have more than five catches in a single game this season. Nicks is a bench player for the time being, and you might want to consider dumping him for better options.

Indianapolis Colts WR LaVon Brazill has been suspended for at least one year without pay by the NFL for violating the policy and program for substances of abuse.
Fantasy Tip: With Brazill out for the season, Da'Rick Rogers and Donte Moncrief could receive bigger roles on offense in 2014. Griff Whalen may also have a chance to make the final roster. None of the players should be drafted in leagues but could be waiver wire options depending on how they are used on offense.

Indianapolis Colts WRs LaVon Brazill, Da'Rick Rogers and Griff Whalen may compete for one roster spot during training camp. It appears WRs Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton, Hakeem Nicks and Donte Moncrief are locks to make the roster.

The Indianapolis Colts signed third-round pick WR Donte Moncrief. Per NFL policy, all drafted rookies sign four-year deals.
Fantasy Tip: He's unlikely to be fantasy-relevant unless Reggie Wayne (knee) can't make it back to the field. Even then, it's not a bet to take in most drafts.
Fri, 09 May 2014 19:48:45 -0700
The Indianapolis Colts selected Mississippi WR Donte Moncrief with the 90th overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Tip: He's sort of a handcuff/heir apparent to injury-prone vet Hakeem Nicks. At 6-foot-2, 221 pounds, Moncrief could step in with big-play ability. He's someone to watch inseason during 2014 and for the long term, with Reggie Wayne (knee) not having much time left on the field.
