Titans | Bishop Sankey receives praise

Tue, 29 Dec 2015 09:14:34 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Bishop Sankey received some praise from the coaching staff after the Week 16 loss. He led all Titans running backs with 30 snaps, although he ran just twice for seven yards and added three catches for a career-high 43 yards. Sankey had just two carries the previous nine weeks, and head coach Mike Mularkey said Sankey will continue to see more time in Week 17. Mularkey also feels that RB David Cobb is improving, but Cobb had only seven carries for 18 yards against the Houston Texans. RB Antonio Andrews lost an early fumble, and Mularkey didn't seem to have much enthusiasm for him.

Fantasy Tip: For the season finale against the Indianapolis Colts, it sounds as if Sankey ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) and Cobb ($2,000) will be the most involved, with Andrews ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) being sprinkled in. Sankey or Cobb could be worth a desperation play in a flex spot on FantasyScore if you're feeling lucky.

Titans | Antonio Andrews finds end zone

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 23:02:20 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews ran 13 times for 58 yards with a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He added one receptions for 10 yards on his only target.

Fantasy Tip: Andrews visited the end zone for the first time since Oct. 11. He has emerged as a decent low-end RB2 or flex FantasyScore option since he gets about 10-15 touches per game and has a healthy average per touch.

Titans | Antonio Andrews to share more this week

Thu, 03 Dec 2015 11:53:52 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews and RB David Cobb will divide carries this week more than at any point this year, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Fantasy Tip: Interesting. David Cobb ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) could make a dynamite flyer on FantasyScore against the Jacksonville Jaguars for his price.

Titans | Antonio Andrews runs well

Thu, 19 Nov 2015 21:10:42 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews had 15 carries for 78 yards and two catches for 16 yards in a 19-13 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Andrews' has been inconsistent, but he is the closest thing the Titans have to a lead back at this point. If Dexter McCluster's knee injury keeps him out of action, Andrews could see enough touches to warrant a look as a flex play at FantasyScore.

Titans | David Cobb to make debut

Thu, 19 Nov 2015 08:14:00 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB David Cobb (calf) will make his season debut Thursday, Nov. 19, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. RB Antonio Andrews will start, and Cobb will be mixed in.

Fantasy Tip: Andrews ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) and Cobb ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) are both risky plays Thursday night. Andrews laid an egg last week with 0.8 fantasy points, and Cobb may not be ready for a big workload. It's a midrange matchup, and Andrews could be worth the flyer for the price.

Titans | Bishop Sankey doesn't play

Mon, 09 Nov 2015 07:32:01 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Bishop Sankey didn't play any offensive snaps Sunday, Nov. 8, in Week 9. RB Antonio Andrews played 45 snaps, and RB Dexter McCluster played 29 snaps.

Fantasy Tip: Sankey can be dropped in all but dynasty formats right now with Antonio Andrews clearly the leader of the backfield.

Titans | Antonio Andrews involved heavily

Sun, 08 Nov 2015 15:44:19 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews -- deemed the workhorse back by interim head coach Mike Mularkey -- rushed 19 times for 88 yards, good for an average of 4.6 yards per attempt. Andrews added one catch for 23 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Andrews is arguably the least talented back in Tennessee, but he is a grinder with a lot of heart. Should he be able to fend off rookie David Cobb upon his return from the short-term IR list, Andrews deserves regular flex consideration.

Titans | Antonio Andrews deemed workhorse

Wed, 04 Nov 2015 12:52:36 -0800

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews was called the Titans' workhorse running back by interim head coach Mike Mularkey Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Andrews ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) has supplanted Bishop Sankey as Tennessee's starting running back, and has done OK in that role. Andrews has yet to really break out, but he has a favorable matchup versus a New Orleans Saints defense that has surrendered eight total touchdowns in eight games to running backs.

Titans | Antonio Andrews appears the lead back

Thu, 29 Oct 2015 09:15:48 -0700

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews appears to have switched roles with RB Bishop Sankey after Sankey didn't receive a carry in Week 7, according to The Tennessean's John Glennon. Andrews appears to be in line for more carries in Week 8 after rushing 10 times for 57 yards last week.

Fantasy Tip: Andrews ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) has a decent draw against the Houston Texans this week and is a speculative flex play on FantasyScore.

Titans | Antonio Andrews could see more carries

Mon, 26 Oct 2015 14:50:07 -0700

Tennessee Titans RB Antonio Andrews deserves more carries, according to head coach Ken Whisenhunt. Andrews ran for 57 yards on 10 carries in a Week 7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: It looks like Bishop Sankey has been supplanted in the Tennessee backfield with Andrews and Dexter McCluster receiving most of the work. McCluster has more value in PPR leagues, but Andrews is worth a pickup and could be a sleeper play on FantasyScore in future weeks.
