|Broncos | Cody Latimer injures his knee|
Sat, 27 Aug 2016 21:34:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Latimer was competing for a roster spot and an injury cannot help him. Even if he is able to make the squad he will be nothing more than a No. 4 or 5 receiver with few targets, so avoid him for fantasy purposes unless you're in a 16-team league with deep benches.

|Broncos | Cody Latimer 'nervous' in first two years|
Sun, 14 Aug 2016 14:51:33 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer admitted to be "very hesitant" and "worried what everybody (such as retired QB Peyton Manning and head coach Gary Kubiak) thought" over his first two seasons. Latimer dropped weight in the offseason and is crediting his conditioning as one of the main reasons why he has stood out in training camp this summer. "Cody is in great condition. He can run all day, so you see him show up. The longer practices go, he tends to keep making plays. It's important to him. You can see it. It's a big year for him. We all know that. I think he's pushing really hard and doing a good job," Kubiak said.
Fantasy Tip: Latimer built on his solid camp with a seven-catch effort in the Broncos' preseason opener and now has to be considered the favorite for the No. 3 role behind Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders after Bennie Fowler suffered a small fracture in his elbow in the same game. Ability has never been a question for the 2014 second-round pick, so more solid preseason performances could lead to a potential fantasy-viable role down the road, although he's not quite there yet.

|Broncos | Cody Latimer busy Thursday|
Thu, 11 Aug 2016 21:27:45 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Latimer has slipped down the depthchart, and a lot has to break in his favor before he has needs to be on the radar of fantasy owners.

|Broncos | Head coach praises Cody Latimer|
Wed, 03 Aug 2016 20:33:35 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer has had a good training camp, and head coach Gary Kubiak praised him Wednesday, Aug. 3. "It's been a good camp. Cody is in great condition. He can run all day, so you can see him show up. The longer practices go, he tends to keep making plays. It's important to him. You can see it. It's a big year for him. We all know that. I think he's pushing really hard and going a good job."
Fantasy Tip: Latimer is not only behind Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, but also Bennie Fowler and Jordan Norwood. He is simply trying to keep a spot on the 53-man roster and isn't worth a spot in most fantasy leagues unless one or two receivers ahead of him go down to injury.

|Broncos | Cody Latimer playing faster|
Sun, 19 Jun 2016 11:40:15 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer is starting to play faster, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Latimer said he's ready for a big step in 2016. "I just have a lot of confidence right now, I'm just ready to play," Latimer said. "I feel like it's time to make an impact." Latimer added that he has a good grip on what the Broncos are doing offensively and what his role is.
Fantasy Tip: His role will likely be the No. 3 wide receiver, but that's not exactly an enviable position in a run-focused Gary Kubiak offense. Latimer is only worth a flier in later rounds of fantasy drafts.

|Broncos | Several WRs get their chance to shine|
Wed, 08 Jun 2016 20:27:45 -0700
Denver Broncos WRs Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, Jordan Norwood and Jordan Taylor each had their chance to make an impression Wednesday, June 8, as they bid to become the third wide receiver behind veteran WRs Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas. Sanders and Thomas were rested, opening up first-team reps.
Fantasy Tip: Unofficially, Fowler might be the favorite, as he came up with some big plays down the stretch and in the postseason in 2015. However, it's a completely open battle. The winner of the No. 3 job will be a useful WR4/5 or flex option in standard fantasy formats.

|Broncos | Cody Latimer arrested|
Tue, 31 May 2016 16:07:53 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer was arrested Monday, May 30, for failing to pay a one-year old traffic ticket. The wide receiver shelled out $311.50 to resolve the situation. Latimer originally called police as the alleged victim of a domestic dispute.
Fantasy Tip: It doesn't look like either incident will cause Latimer to miss any significant time. He'll still compete for the Broncos' No. 3 wide receiver position, but he shouldn't be drafted as more than a WR5.

|Broncos | Denver has two No. 3 WR candidates|
Fri, 27 May 2016 14:22:16 -0700
Denver Broncos WRs Cody Latimer and Bennie Fowler are expected to compete for the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp. Latimer has performed well during offseason workouts during the last few seasons but has not recorded great numbers during the regular season. Fowler had a decent role in the passing game in 2015 but injuries and inconsistency dropped him on the depth chart.
Fantasy Tip: Fowler has posted better numbers during his career, but Latimer was drafted higher and has performed well during offseason workouts. The Broncos probably will decide the winner of the competition at some point during the preseason, but the winner likely would only be a late-round option in most leagues.
