Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry could produce a lot in the red zone this season, in the opinion of ESPN.com's James Walker. Walker cited Landry's precise route-running, good hands and his trust of QB Ryan Tannehill as reasons for why Landry should do well in that area this season.
Fantasy Tip: Despite Miami's crowded wide receiver corps, Jarvis Landry is still their top wideout and should be Tannehill's favorite target. He has more value in PPR leagues and should be regarded as a WR2.

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry is considered the "go-to receiver" for QB Ryan Tannehill, according to beat writer Armando Salguero.
Fantasy Tip: Landry posted 84 receptions as a rookie in 2014, and he could be even better in 2015. FantasyScore players and those in formats which reward points per reception (PPR) will fall in love with Landry this season.

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry has a chance to become a deep threat for the team this season, according to head coach Joe Philbin. "I think he's got a chance to do that," Philbin said. "He's lined up in a variety of spots. He's done some things outside. I think his natural home base is still inside, but he certainly has shown the ability. He's a real quality route runner. He can run different routes that you want on the outside. The beauty of him is he doesn't slow down when he's coming out of cuts. So if he can get on top of the DB (defensive back), he doesn't waste any time whatsoever. That's really, to me, is what makes him effective."
Fantasy Tip: Landry has seen a lot of playing time in the slot since joining the Dolphins, but he could line up on the outside at times this season. Landry should be one of the team's top targets this season and could be a middle-round option in drafts.
Fri, 10 Jul 2015 16:05:52 -0700
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry has been working on improving his speed this offseason to show that he is more than a slot receiver.
Fantasy Tip: Landry is coming off a successful rookie season when he recorded 758 yards and five touchdowns. Landry should be one of the team's top three receivers this season and could be a middle-round option in deeper drafts.
Mon, 08 Jun 2015 21:31:21 -0700
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry and QB Ryan Tannehill have developed a nice rapport during organized team activities (OTAs), and he is expected to be the go-to receiver heading into the regular season.
Fantasy Tip: Landry racked up 84 receptions in his rookie season and he will be a solid WR2/3 or flex fantasy option heading into the new season.
Sun, 15 Feb 2015 16:18:18 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry has already started working at a training facility in Arizona with New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. trying to improve his explosiveness. "I had to beg him to take time off," his agent said. "He wants to show people he's an outside receiver, not just a slot receiver."
Fantasy Tip: Landry had a decent season, emerging as a solid WR3/4 or flex play in most fantasy leagues down the stretch. It will be interesting to see if he can take a giant step forward in 2015.
Sun, 21 Dec 2014 17:35:37 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry had eight receptions for 31 yards in the Week 16 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He broke Terry Kirby's team record for receptions by a rookie with 79.
Fantasy Tip: Landry has emerged as a solid WR3/4 or flex play in most fantasy formats, and he is a decent FantasyScore option for Week 17 if the price is right.
Tue, 09 Dec 2014 13:51:35 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (knee) injured his knee against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14 but returned to the game. He was working with a trainer Tuesday, Dec. 9, during the early portion of practice.
Fantasy Tip: Landry ($5,000) has double-digit targets in three of the last five weeks as one of Ryan Tannehill's favorite weapons. However, the Dolphins face a stiff New England Patriots defense this weekend. Tread carefully with Landry in Week 15 at FantasyScore.
Mon, 01 Dec 2014 21:00:52 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry had eight catches on 11 targets for 68 yards in the team's 16-13 win over the New York Jets Monday, Dec. 1. It was the third time in his last four games that he has seen at least 10 targets.
Fantasy Tip: Landry's role in the offense has steadily grown throughout the year, and while his upside is somewhat limited by the underneath routes he runs, he has become a stable option in PPR formats.
Thu, 27 Nov 2014 12:31:22 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 27.
Fantasy Tip: Landry has been a solid option in the passing game this season and has scored three touchdowns in his last two games. Owners could consider using Landry as a flex option this week since he only costs $4,400 on FantasyScore.
Fri, 21 Nov 2014 15:00:12 -0800
Miami Dolphins WRs Mike Wallace (calf) and Jarvis Landry (shoulder) were both limited in practice Friday, Nov. 21, but they are both listed as probable for Week 12 against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Tip: Landry ($3,700) should be the safer and more profitable play at FantasyScore this weekend, with the Broncos allowing the fifth-most receptions to receivers this year (141). Wallace ($5,700) has boom potential, but Ryan Tannehill has struggled on deep routes, and Wallace will likely be covered by Aqib Talib.
Thu, 20 Nov 2014 15:38:54 -0800
Miami Dolphins WRs Mike Wallace (calf) and Jarvis Landry (shoulder) were both limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Nov. 20.
Fantasy Tip: Landry ($3,700) has better potential for a return on your investment at FantasyScore than Wallace ($5,700), especially because of Ryan Tannehill's inability to hit on the deep pass. But both players could be good investments this weekend against the Denver Broncos, especially if Miami is forced to play from behind.
Wed, 19 Nov 2014 15:25:54 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Fantasy Tip: Landry ($3,700) has become a trusted PPR weapon for Ryan Tannehill in this offense. Denver has allowed the fourth-most receptions to wideouts (141) this year, making Landry a very good and cheap FantasyScore weapon this weekend, especially if Miami has to play catch-up.
Fri, 14 Nov 2014 09:47:27 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace continues to struggle with his connection with QB Ryan Tannehill on deep balls. Meanwhile, WR Jarvis Landry is becoming the team's best playmaker in the passing game.
Fantasy Tip: Wallace had four catches (seven targets) for 38 yards in the Thursday night win over the Buffalo Bills. However, Landry has become the much safer and consistent play in point-per-reception leagues like FantasyScore.
Thu, 13 Nov 2014 20:53:59 -0800
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry had five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown in the team's 22-9 victory over the Buffalo Bills Thursday, Nov. 13.
Fantasy Tip: The rookie is quietly playing with consistency, and he has caught at least five passes and topped 40 yards in each of the past three weeks. He has also caught two touchdowns in his last three games. Landry could make a nice low-priced sleeper at receiver in the coming weeks.
Fri, 31 Oct 2014 16:53:35 -0700
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry officially has passed WR Brandon Gibson as the No. 3 receiver on the depth chart, as he played more snaps than Gibson for the third straight week in Week 8.
Fantasy Tip: Landry is arguably ahead of Brian Hartline in the pecking order, too, now that Miami has focused Ryan Tannehill on eliminating the deep ball more often. Landry is a fine play at FantasyScore for his run-after-the-catch ability.
Wed, 22 Oct 2014 11:07:10 -0700
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry has moved ahead of WR Brandon Gibson on the team's depth chart. Gibson said no one has explained to him why he was inactive for Week 7.
Fantasy Tip: Landry appears to be more involved in the passing game than he was earlier in the season. Owners would only have to spend $3,000 on Landry this week but may want to spend some more money on a better option.
Fri, 17 Oct 2014 14:33:29 -0700
Miami Dolphins WR Brian Hartline has become a forgotten man in the team's offense after back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He is currently fourth on the team in catches (16) and third in receiving yards (161), and he's on pace for his worst statistical season since 2011. The Dolphins have basically stopped throwing his way; he was targeted just twice in Week 6 and was without a catch for the first time in almost two years. Tannehill has had the most snaps of any receiver on the team in every game this year, but only once was he targeted more often than WR Mike Wallace.
"Sometimes teams commit, whether they play cloud, whether they double-cover, there are multiple different coverages. We are a progression-based passing game. Sometimes it's just the way the ball rolls and the snaps are thrown, it just hasn't been (there). He hasn't been targeted quite as much, but I'm sure he is going to have his days," head coach Joe Philbin said. WR Jarvis Landry has emerged as a legitimate receiving threat, too, and he had a team-high six-catches for 75 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers last week.
Fantasy Tip: Until Hartline is utilized more often in the offense, he won't be an intriguing pick for your FantasyScore lineups. He comes with a $4,300 (8.6% of cap) salary this weekend against the Chicago Bears.
Tue, 14 Oct 2014 17:47:53 -0700
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry was the team's starting slot receiver in Week 6 in place of WR Brandon Gibson (hamstring), and he caught a team-high six passes for 75 yards and touchdown. His eight targets were the second most on the team.
Fantasy Tip: Landry made the most of his playing time, and he could remain a factor in the offense, especially while Gibson is out. His $3,000 salary (6% of cap) at FantasyScore in Week 7 is the minimum at the position, and he could be worth flier against a Chicago defense that ranks 17th against the pass.

Wed, 27 Aug 2014 17:10:40 -0700
Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Marcus Thigpen (hamstring) will play in the preseason finale Thursday, Aug. 28, against the St. Louis Rams. He hasn't done much at receiver in training camp and the preseason, but he is a valuable kick returner. The team is exploring other options, such as WRs Jarvis Landry and Damian Williams. If the team is comfortable with the alternatives, Thigpen's roster spot could be in jeopardy.

Fri, 09 May 2014 18:25:18 -0700
The Miami Dolphins selected Louisiana State WR Jarvis Landry with the 63rd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Tip: Landry doesn't stand out for his size or speed, but he has very sound ball skills, and he's extremely versatile. Going into his first year, he'll have to contend for snaps behind Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline, but there is promise in Year 1. Expect Landry to play the slot.
