Texans | Bruce Ellington posts six receptions

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 18:34:35 -0800

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington finished with six catches and 63 yards on seven targets in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington stepped up with Will Fuller on the shelf, serving well in the role of No. 2 receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins. He isn't a bad WR4 or flex option heading into Week 12 against the Ravens if Fuller needs more time to recover.

Texans | Bruce Ellington goes full in practice

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 14:05:19 -0800

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington (ribs) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 17, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 11 game with the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington is expected to see additional work in the pass game with Will Fuller (ribs) inactive. That makes Ellington worth a look as a WR4 or WR5 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams if you're in a pinch due to injuries or bye weeks. He is also a decent low-priced DFS target against the 23rd-ranked pass defense in the NFL.

Texans | Bruce Ellington logs full practice

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 13:56:46 -0800

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington (ribs) participated fully in practice Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington will take over for Will Fuller this week, and possibly beyond, as the Texans' No. 2 wide receiver. After seeing a season-high nine targets last week, he is a sleeper candidate in a quality matchup versus the Arizona Cardinals.

Texans | Bruce Ellington may get more targets

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 17:36:35 -0800

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington "needs to get the ball more," according to head coach Bill O'Brien, who added that "he's doing some really good things out there."

Fantasy Tip: Ellington has become more involved in the passing game since Deshaun Watson went down, as he's drawn eight targets in each of the last two games, turning that into seven catches for 63 yards and his second touchdown of the season. While those numbers don't exactly sound glamorous, it is encouraging that his head coach wants him more involved, which makes him a sleeper option to ponder in deeper formats.

Texans | Bruce Ellington takes part in practice

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 15:17:33 -0800

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington (ribs) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington is expected to receive a bigger role in the passing game with Will Fuller unlikely to play. He has been targeted 17 times over the last two weeks but has only seven catches and 63 yards during that span. Desperate owners in deeper leagues could consider Ellington, but owners in most leagues can find better options for their lineups.

Texans | Bruce Ellington finds the end zone

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 20:39:47 -0800

Houston Texans WR Bruce Ellington caught four passes on eight targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in a 33-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington took advantage of an injury to Will Fuller to log some extra snaps, but even if Fuller misses more time, Ellington isn't likely to make a consistent impact.
