Raiders | Oakland has been eyeing Martavis Bryant

Thu, 26 Apr 2018 20:07:46 -0700

Oakland Raiders WR Martavis Bryant can be a "dynamic receiver" for quarterback Derek Carr, according to general manager Reggie McKenzie, and McKenzie said Oakland had been working on trading for Bryant for some time.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant has plenty of upside because of his big-play ability, but he has to stay on the field and show some consistency. He is worth taking a chance on as a WR4.

Steelers | Pittsburgh trades Martavis Bryant

Thu, 26 Apr 2018 19:32:27 -0700

The Pittsburgh Steelers traded WR Martavis Bryant to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for the 79th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Tip: If his play last season hadn't already cemented JuJu Smith-Schuster as the No. 2 receiver in Pittsburgh, this trade does. Smith-Schuster should be a strong WR3 playing across from Antonio Brown.

Raiders | Oakland lands Martavis Bryant

Thu, 26 Apr 2018 19:17:27 -0700

The Oakland Raiders acquired WR Martavis Bryant from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for the 79th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant should be more of a focal point of the passing attack in Oakland than he was in Pittsburgh, but it remains to be seen if he can be more than just a big-play threat. Consider him a WR4 with upside.

Steelers | PIT still listening on Martavis Bryant

Thu, 26 Apr 2018 09:58:48 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has quietly remained in trade discussions over the last couple of months. However, most of the teams needing receivers are rivals to the team.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant has loads of talent, but he's at a disadvantage on a team with Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. Bryant has WR3 appeal, but it's a risk to expect that much return on this team.

Steelers | Pittsburgh GM says Martavis Bryant staying

Wed, 28 Feb 2018 09:23:04 -0800

Updating an ongoing story, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant is not the subject of trade plans, according to Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert. He added teams have called about Bryant, but Colbert said Wednesday, Feb. 28, the wide receiver is not on the trading market.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant's once-bright fantasy future is in peril if he remains in Pittsburgh. The downfield asset will be relegated to no better than the No. 3 receiver, which is usually fourth of fifth in the pecking order. Bryant is merely a flier at this stage, unless something changes.

Bills | Buffalo had interest in Martavis Bryant

Sat, 24 Feb 2018 12:04:02 -0800

The Buffalo Bills had interest in acquiring Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant during the regular season.

Fantasy Tip: The Bills acquired Kelvin Benjamin before the trade deadline, so they may not be interested in Bryant anymore. Bryant could be traded at some point this offseason but can be considered at least a No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Steelers | PIT, Martavis Bryant not talking contract

Sat, 24 Feb 2018 11:42:04 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has not had any contract extension talks with the Steelers. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant asked for a trade during the regular season, so he could be moved this offseason if the Steelers receive a solid offer for him. Bryant has the potential to be a solid fantasy receiver and could be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver depending on his situation.

Steelers | Pittsburgh open to dealing Martavis Bryant?

Fri, 23 Feb 2018 09:44:26 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant is reportedly on the trading block as the team is listening to potential deals for him, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Tip: The Steelers were adamant about not trading Bryant during the season, but they appear to be reversing course now. Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster should be locked in as starters for the foreseeable future, leaving Bryant as little more than a third receiver and/or situational deep threat. Considering his low 2018 salary ($705,000), age (26) and talent, Bryant should be able to find a new home fairly easily if Pittsburgh is serious about making a deal.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant the subject of talks

Fri, 23 Feb 2018 05:33:32 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant isn't being shopped by the team, but they are fielding offers on him.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant had a 50-603-3 line last season as he was clearly affected by Juju Smith-Schuster's emergence. Bryant will be a WR4 option in fantasy, but a trade could enhance that.

Mon, 15 Jan 2018 11:30:58 -0800

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant said he wants to return to the Steelers next season and will be ready for offseason workouts.
