Steelers | Two grabs for Martavis Bryant

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 17:07:55 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant posted two receptions for 30 yards on eight targets in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: Ben Roethlisberger looked for Bryant early and often, but the two only connected on 25 percent of Bryant's targets. He'll look for a much better conversion rate in Week 4 against a Baltimore Ravens pass defense which was minced up in London by the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant finds end zone

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 15:05:45 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant caught three passes for 91 yards and one touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant was the target of several deep passes during the game and picked up a lot of yards after the catch on his touchdown. He will continue to be a deep threat for the Steelers and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver next week.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant quiet in Week 1

Sun, 10 Sep 2017 13:33:53 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant caught two passes for 14 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant played in a regular season game for the first time in over a year and was not a big factor in the game. He should have a bigger impact in the upcoming weeks and could be a No. 3 receiver against the Minnesota Vikings next week.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant fully reinstated

Fri, 01 Sep 2017 13:19:49 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has been reinstated by the NFL and is now allowed to play in regular season games.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant will be starting opposite Antonio Brown and should have a big role in the passing game this season. He can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues because of his touchdown potential but does come with some risk because of his off-field issues.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant expected to be reinstated

Thu, 31 Aug 2017 20:36:09 -0700

The Pittsburgh Steelers expect WR Martavis Bryant to be fully reinstated before the start of the regular season, according to general manager Kevin Colbert. Colbert said the team has not heard from the NFL regarding Bryant's status yet.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant will be one of the starting receivers for the Steelers if he is cleared to play in Week 1. He is a risky option because of his off-field issues but has been a very productive player when he has been on the field. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver in most fantasy leagues because of his touchdown potential.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant has hamstring issue

Wed, 23 Aug 2017 14:13:27 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant (hamstring) was seen with his hamstring wrapped, but head coach Mike Tomlin said Bryant is only considered day-to-day and expects him to practice Thursday, Aug. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant has yet to be officially reinstated, but he'll be ready if/when the time comes. It's one of the trickier situations in the NFL right now, so keep tabs on Bryant's status. If he does play a full season, he has the ability to achieve WR2 numbers.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant back on the field

Sun, 20 Aug 2017 18:19:52 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant saw his first game action in 18 months, finishing with two catches for 20 yards in a 17-13 preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, Aug. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant's issues off the field are well documented, but he is a big-play weapon on the field. He is a high-risk, high-reward option, but the gamble is worth it if you can land him as a WR3.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant to practice in full Sunday

Sat, 12 Aug 2017 09:35:43 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant participated in a closed practice session Thursday, Aug. 10, and has been cleared for full practice Sunday, Aug. 13, after the Steelers received word from the league earlier in the week he was allowed to rejoin the team.

Fantasy Tip: The reports on Bryant have been positive all offseason, but he is at risk of being overpriced in fantasy as his ADP has already shot into the fourth round. While he certainly has the talent to live up to it, he will be hard-pressed to do so in an offense that will be centered around Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. Owners also need to consider the likelihood Ben Roethlisberger will miss time again this season. He's a high-risk, high-reward WR2 at his current ADP.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant expected to sit Friday

Fri, 11 Aug 2017 14:45:55 -0700

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant is not expected to play in the preseason game against the New York Giants Friday, Aug. 11, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant is allowed to play in preseason games but has not practiced with the team yet, so he is more likely to play in the second preseason game. He is a risky option for fantasy owners because of his off-field issues but can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver because of his big-play ability.

Steelers | Martavis Bryant not fully cleared

Wed, 09 Aug 2017 16:31:31 -0700

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has been cleared for all preseason activities but will continue to be evaluated as to his readiness to participate in regular season activities.

Fantasy Tip: Bryant can practice during training camp and play in preseason games for now but appears to be on track to be on the field for Week 1. He can be a solid No. 3 fantasy receiver despite his off-field issues.
