Jaguars | Marqise Lee, Allen Hurns both sidelined

Wed, 06 Dec 2017 14:33:45 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WRs Marqise Lee (knee) and Allen Hurns (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Fantasy Tip: There are still three days for Lee and Hurns to be ready for the Seattle Seahawks, so don't panic just yet. Seattle has been worse than usual against the pass this year, but they did just limited a potent Philadelphia Eagles' passing attack and have only yielded single-digit touchdowns (9) to receivers in 2017. Stay tuned to the progress of Lee and Hurns but have a plan B ready.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was listed as a limited participant for practice on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Lee might be healthy enough to play in Week 13, but he needs to secure the ball better. Drops have been a problem lately. Rookie Dede Westbrook could push for more targets and ruin the already fragile fantasy appeal of Lee and Allen Hurns (ankle).

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted one reception for 13 yards on two targets in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Lee had a drop in this one, something that has plagued him. The debut of Dede Westbrook a couple of weeks ago might also be hurting Lee, as the rookie was targeted 10 times in this one to Lee's two targets. Lee simply cannot be trusted anymore outside of the deepest fantasy leagues.

He will be facing a solid Arizona Cardinals defense but can be a flex option in most leagues.

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 14:09:08 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was able to play last week despite being hampered. He didn't put up monster numbers, but he would make for at least a flex option in a favorable matchup if he is indeed full go this weekend. Keep tabs on his status before making a final decision though.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has the chance at a big week against the Browns, a team ranking 17th in the NFL against the pass with 230.6 yards per game allowed, 19 touchdowns and 29 pass plays of 20 or more yards through nine games. He'll see a bulk of the wideout targets with Allen Hurns (ankle) ruled out, too.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Fantasy Tip: Lee might be a question mark for Week 11, or the team could just be preserving him since Allen Hurns has already been ruled out. With Hurns out, Lee could be a legitimate WR3 or flex option in some fantasy formats, especially working against the lowly Browns.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee doesn't practice

Wed, 08 Nov 2017 14:11:09 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) missed practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Lee is easily the Jaguars' best receiving threat with Allen Robinson out. As is the case with any player who misses practice during the week, Lee's status will need to be monitored over the next few days. If he does practice and is able to play then he's at least a flex option even in a less than desirable matchup versus the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was listed as questionable on the injury report despite only participating in one of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. Jaguars | Marqise Lee practices Friday

Fri, 03 Nov 2017 09:58:27 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee practiced Friday, Nov. 3 and is expected to play in Week 9 versus the Cincinnati Bengals despite being listed as questionable on the injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has been fantasy-relevant in his last two games despite not practicing very much of late, but his stock could take a hit with the debut of Dede Westbrook. He also doesn't have a very good matchup this week either, as the Bengals have allowed a league-low 54 catches to the receiver position. Even in a week where six teams are on a bye, most owners should be able to avoid starting him.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee remains sidelined

Thu, 02 Nov 2017 10:09:07 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) did not practice for a second straight day Thursday, Nov. 2.

Fantasy Tip: The ingredients aren't making for a good recipe for Lee this week. On top of dealing with the injury he has an unfavorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. If he's active then he's at least worth a flex start, but use caution.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee out of practice

Wed, 01 Nov 2017 08:53:17 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (undisclosed) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Fantasy Tip: Lee missed some practice last week with a knee issue, but he had four grabs for 72 yards in Week 8. It could be a day off to maintenance the knee. He has a tough matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals this week as a WR3.

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 06:10:30 -0700

Fri, 20 Oct 2017 14:25:45 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Lee appears to have a decent chance to play this week since he was able to do something during practice. He is coming off a solid Week 6 performance and continues to be the top receiver for the Jaguars. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues if he plays because of the matchup.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee does not practice

Thu, 19 Oct 2017 14:44:22 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 19.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should know more about Lee's status for Week 7 after practice Friday, Oct. 20. He could be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need other options available in case he is ruled out. Lee will be a risky option this week because of an injury but does have a favorable matchup if is in uniform against the Indianapolis Colts.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee absent from practice

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 12:42:01 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was not present for practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Lee's status could come down to a game-time decision if he continues to miss practice. Even if he plays he could be limited. If Lee is inactive then Allen Hurns immediately becomes a viable WR3 or flex consideration.

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 20:40:45 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted five receptions for 83 yards on 10 targets in the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was on the injury report with a ribs injury, but he did not appear to be hindered by the ailment since he had a game-high in receiving yardage. Still, he remains more of a WR4 in most fantasy formats heading into Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee able to practice fully

Fri, 13 Oct 2017 15:19:01 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) was able to practice in full Friday, Oct. 13, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was considered a game-time decision last week and he was able to play, so no reason why he won't be in there Sunday. He has 15 grabs for 208 yards over the past four games on 30 targets. He has cooled off over his past two games after really coming on in the first two outings following an injury to Allen Robinson. Lee should only be trusted as a WR4 or flex option in deeper leagues at this point.

Jaguars | Limited practice for Marqise Lee

Thu, 12 Oct 2017 12:16:36 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Lee fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11, but the team may have decided to take things easy with Lee Thursday. He is the team's No. 1 receiver, but the Jaguars have not thrown the ball much over the last few weeks. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues, but most owners should be able to find a better option.

Wed, 11 Oct 2017 15:26:02 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee doesn't do much

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 14:00:31 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted two receptions for a team-high 49 yards in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on four targets.

Fantasy Tip: Lee didn't do much, as the Jaguars came in with a run-heavy game plan. In fact, Jacksonville passed just 14 times in the road win. You can expect the offense to be a little more balance in Week 6 when the Rams pay a visit, but Lee remains nothing more than a low-end WR4 or flex option.
