Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee racked up three receptions for 28 yards on a team-high six targets in the AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Lee is worth a look as a WR3 or flex fantasy option heading into the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots.

Jaguars | Three Jaguars WRs not involved

Sun, 07 Jan 2018 13:29:57 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WRs Marqise Lee, Allen Hurns and Keelan Cole were each targeted one time against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card playoff game Sunday, Jan. 7, but all three finished with zero receptions. Lee did have one carry for five yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: The Jaguars did not have much success in the passing game against the Bills, so Lee, Hurns and Cole were held off the stat sheet. They should be able to make some plays against the Pittsburgh Steelers next week. Lee can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver, while Hurns and Cole could be at least flex options.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee questionable for wild-card round

Fri, 05 Jan 2018 09:46:39 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) "looked better than anticipated" in practice Friday, Jan. 5, according to head coach Doug Marrone and is listed as questionable for the team's Wild-Card Game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Fantasy Tip: It marks Lee's first practice since Week 15. While it's looking more probable than it did earlier this week that he'll play this weekend, it is unreasonable for playoff league owners to set their expectations too high. Not only has Buffalo done a good job of containing receivers for most of the season, but Keelan Cole has emerged as the top target in Jacksonville of late. Lee is little more than a risky DFS flier this weekend.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee sits again

Thu, 04 Jan 2018 12:42:14 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Lee may he able to play in the Wild Card game despite not practicing, but owners will need to check the inactive list to make sure of his status. He will be a risky option if he plays, so owners may want to look for other starting options.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) is expected to play in the Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills, but he may not practice all week, according to a source.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee out of practice

Thu, 28 Dec 2017 09:37:29 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) is out of practice Thursday, Dec. 28.

Fantasy Tip: There is very little chance Lee plays in Week 17. Keelan Cole is the fifth-ranked receiver in traditional leagues the last five weeks, and he's a shoo-in start against the Tennessee Titans.

Wed, 27 Dec 2017 15:55:12 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Fantasy Tip: Lee is a risky fantasy proposition for the regular-season finale. The team might elect to keep him sidelined and preserve him for the playoffs. Even if he can play, it's hard to imagine he'll unseat the red-hot Keelan Cole in the passing game.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee out a while

Thu, 21 Dec 2017 08:10:53 -0800

Updating previous reports, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) is in a walking boot and said he'll be out for "a while." Lee said it's the same injury he suffered Aug. 13 that kept him out of the final three preseason games.

Fantasy Tip: You can pretty much write Lee off for the final two games of the regular season to be ready for the playoffs. Keelan Cole has a 13-334-3 line the last three games, and he's a WR3 option against the San Francisco 49ers.

Wed, 06 Dec 2017 14:33:45 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WRs Marqise Lee (knee) and Allen Hurns (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Fantasy Tip: There are still three days for Lee and Hurns to be ready for the Seattle Seahawks, so don't panic just yet. Seattle has been worse than usual against the pass this year, but they did just limited a potent Philadelphia Eagles' passing attack and have only yielded single-digit touchdowns (9) to receivers in 2017. Stay tuned to the progress of Lee and Hurns but have a plan B ready.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was listed as a limited participant for practice on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Lee might be healthy enough to play in Week 13, but he needs to secure the ball better. Drops have been a problem lately. Rookie Dede Westbrook could push for more targets and ruin the already fragile fantasy appeal of Lee and Allen Hurns (ankle).

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 20:47:36 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted one reception for 13 yards on two targets in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Lee had a drop in this one, something that has plagued him. The debut of Dede Westbrook a couple of weeks ago might also be hurting Lee, as the rookie was targeted 10 times in this one to Lee's two targets. Lee simply cannot be trusted anymore outside of the deepest fantasy leagues.

He will be facing a solid Arizona Cardinals defense but can be a flex option in most leagues.

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 14:09:08 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was able to play last week despite being hampered. He didn't put up monster numbers, but he would make for at least a flex option in a favorable matchup if he is indeed full go this weekend. Keep tabs on his status before making a final decision though.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has the chance at a big week against the Browns, a team ranking 17th in the NFL against the pass with 230.6 yards per game allowed, 19 touchdowns and 29 pass plays of 20 or more yards through nine games. He'll see a bulk of the wideout targets with Allen Hurns (ankle) ruled out, too.
