Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted four receptions for 72 yards on six targets in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 20, and is listed as questionable for Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Lee appears to have a decent chance to play this week since he was able to do something during practice. He is coming off a solid Week 6 performance and continues to be the top receiver for the Jaguars. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues if he plays because of the matchup.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee does not practice

Thu, 19 Oct 2017 14:44:22 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 19.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should know more about Lee's status for Week 7 after practice Friday, Oct. 20. He could be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need other options available in case he is ruled out. Lee will be a risky option this week because of an injury but does have a favorable matchup if is in uniform against the Indianapolis Colts.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee absent from practice

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 12:42:01 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) was not present for practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Lee's status could come down to a game-time decision if he continues to miss practice. Even if he plays he could be limited. If Lee is inactive then Allen Hurns immediately becomes a viable WR3 or flex consideration.

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 20:40:45 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted five receptions for 83 yards on 10 targets in the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was on the injury report with a ribs injury, but he did not appear to be hindered by the ailment since he had a game-high in receiving yardage. Still, he remains more of a WR4 in most fantasy formats heading into Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee able to practice fully

Fri, 13 Oct 2017 15:19:01 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) was able to practice in full Friday, Oct. 13, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was considered a game-time decision last week and he was able to play, so no reason why he won't be in there Sunday. He has 15 grabs for 208 yards over the past four games on 30 targets. He has cooled off over his past two games after really coming on in the first two outings following an injury to Allen Robinson. Lee should only be trusted as a WR4 or flex option in deeper leagues at this point.

Jaguars | Limited practice for Marqise Lee

Thu, 12 Oct 2017 12:16:36 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Lee fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11, but the team may have decided to take things easy with Lee Thursday. He is the team's No. 1 receiver, but the Jaguars have not thrown the ball much over the last few weeks. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues, but most owners should be able to find a better option.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee takes part in practice

Wed, 11 Oct 2017 15:26:02 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has recorded only four catches over the last two games but will continue to be the team's top receiver. He could be a flex option against the Los Angeles Rams this week but could also be benched if owners have better options.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee doesn't do much

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 14:00:31 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted two receptions for a team-high 49 yards in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on four targets.

Fantasy Tip: Lee didn't do much, as the Jaguars came in with a run-heavy game plan. In fact, Jacksonville passed just 14 times in the road win. You can expect the offense to be a little more balance in Week 6 when the Rams pay a visit, but Lee remains nothing more than a low-end WR4 or flex option.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee officially active

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 08:58:39 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) is officially active for the team's Week 5 game.

Fantasy Tip: Lee likely will have to deal with some pain from his injured ribs during the game but should continue to serve as the top receiver for the Jaguars. He will be facing a solid Pittsburgh Steelers secondary this week and should be considered a flex option in leagues.

Sat, 07 Oct 2017 21:42:52 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) is slated to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has had a couple of solid games this year, but he is at the mercy of the erratic quarterback play of Blake Bortles.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee listed as questionable

Fri, 06 Oct 2017 13:23:22 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 6, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Lee may be a game-time decision this week, so owners should check the inactive list before deciding on their injury report. He has been the leading receiver for the Jaguars since Allen Robinson was injured but is facing one of the better pass defenses in the leagues. Owners probably should look for other options to use in their lineups.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee misses practice again

Thu, 05 Oct 2017 15:59:58 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) did not participate in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 5.

Fantasy Tip: There were no reported issues for Lee coming out of last week's road loss against the Jets, but the four-year veteran is suddenly in danger of missing Week 5. If he ends up sitting out, Allen Hurns would get a notable boost and may be worth starting in most formats, having a pretty fine matchup in Pittsburgh. If the Jaguars are getting blown out, Mr. Garbage Time Blake Bortles would surely be hitting Hurns often.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee sits out

Wed, 04 Oct 2017 16:07:48 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ribs) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to monitor Lee's practice participation this week to see if he is in any danger of missing Week 5. He had a disappointing Week 4 performance and will be facing one of the better pass defenses in the NFL this week. Owners probably will be able to find better options to use and can avoid Lee.

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 14:25:34 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee caught two passes for 18 yards against the New York Jets in Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was coming off two solid performances but did not receive a lot of work against the Jets. He has been targeted 22 times in the last three games and could be a flex option in deeper leagues when he has a favorable matchup.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee has solid outing

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 09:48:51 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee caught four passes for 65 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has recorded at least 65 yards in each of the last two games and has been targets 19 times in those games. He will continue to be one of the starting receivers for the Jaguars and could be a flex option for owners next week against the New York Jets.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee targeted 12 times

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 17:29:43 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee finished with seven receptions and 76 yards on a game-high 12 targets in Week 2 against the Titans.

Fantasy Tip: Lee and Allen Hurns each stepped up with Allen Robinson done for the season due to a knee injury. Both are worth a look as low-end WR3 or WR4 options in fantasy leagues going forward, although they face a tough matchup against the Ravens in Week 3 in London.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee eyeing return to practice

Sat, 26 Aug 2017 10:23:44 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) expects to practice Saturday, Aug. 26, for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain during practice on Aug. 13.

Fantasy Tip: With Allen Hurns supposedly in the doghouse or on the trading block, Lee should have a clear path to start this season if he can get and stay healthy, which has been a problem for him as a pro. In what figures to be a low-volume passing attack with questionable quarterbacking at best, however, Lee will do well to maintain WR5 status in fantasy.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee will not play Thursday

Mon, 21 Aug 2017 16:44:47 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) has been ruled out for the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers Thursday, Aug. 24, and is considered unlikely to play in the final preseason game.

Fantasy Tip: Lee will have two weeks to recover from his ankle injury and should have a good chance to play in Week 1. He is coming off a career season in 2016 when he recorded 851 yards and three touchdowns. He probably will be the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for the Jaguars this season but should only be a late-round flier in deeper leagues.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee eyeing Week 1 return

Sat, 19 Aug 2017 10:38:30 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) has shed the protective boot on his right foot and expects to be ready to play in the regular-season opener against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Tip: It's the best possible outcome for Lee, who admitted to reporters he thought he broke his leg when he suffered his high-ankle sprain in practice on Aug. 13. Jacksonville's low-volume passing game may not afford Lee the same opportunities that allowed him to break out in 2016, but he should be on the WR5 radar in most leagues, if only because he was arguably the team's best receiver last season.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee has high ankle sprain

Mon, 14 Aug 2017 07:19:05 -0700

Updating previous reports, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) is out with a high ankle sprain. He will attempt to return before Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: These are usually four-to-six-week injuries, and Week 1 should be considered doubtful. Lee falls back to a WR5 flyer. Rashad Greene could see more time in the slot, but he's a fringe WR5.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee injury update

Sun, 13 Aug 2017 11:23:33 -0700

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (leg) reportedly did not suffer a serious leg injury as initially feared after he was carted off during practice Sunday, Aug. 13.

Fantasy Tip: Lee is still extremely likely to miss a few practices, but the Jaguars can feel good they appear to have dodged a bit of a bullet. Assuming he does not miss significant time, Lee can be considered a low-end WR4 for fantasy purposes.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee injured in practice Sunday

Sun, 13 Aug 2017 10:24:19 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (leg) was carted off with a right leg injury suffered during practice Sunday, Aug. 13.

Fantasy Tip: It was reportedly a non-contact injury during 7-on-7 drills and Lee was placed in an aircast, suggesting he is dealing with a potentially serious injury. The fourth-year pro was coming off a breakout season, enjoying a great camp and was arguably the best receiver for the Jaguars last year, so a season-ending injury would be a tough blow. Any prolonged absence would likely lead to more targets for Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee could be No. 2 receiver

Thu, 06 Jul 2017 19:44:55 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee will likely be given the opportunity to win the No. 2 receiver job because of his big-play ability, according to Mike Kaye of FirstCoastNews.com.

Fantasy Tip: Lee enjoyed a bit of a breakout season last year, and if he opens the year with a prominent role in the passing attack, WR3 production isn't out of the question.

Sun, 01 Jan 2017 17:36:29 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted six receptions for a team-high 86 yards on nine targets in the Week 17 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Tip: Lee easily posted a career best with 851 receiving yards, and he also hauled in 63 balls with three touchdowns and one TD pass. He was finally healthy in his third NFL season and could be a nice fantasy sleeper heading into 2017.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee listed as questionable

Fri, 30 Dec 2016 17:46:28 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to check the inactive list to see if Lee will be able to play in Week 17. He has been held to under 40 yards in four of the last five games and probably can be avoided in most leagues.

Jaguars | Limited practice for Marqise Lee

Thu, 29 Dec 2016 11:22:38 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has been targeted at least six times in seven of the last eight games and has three touchdowns during that span. He should see a decent number of targets in Week 17 and could be a flex option in some leagues.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee limited

Wed, 28 Dec 2016 16:12:57 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hip) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Lee should have a decent chance to play in Week 17 despite the injury, but owners will need to check on his status later in the week. He has been targeted at least six times in seven of the last eight games and could be a flex option in deeper leagues.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee involved on two TDs

Sat, 24 Dec 2016 14:38:23 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in the Week 16 game against the Tennessee Titans, and he also threw a 20-yard touchdown pass.

Fantasy Tip: Lee took advantage of a late-season injury to Allen Hurns and really emerged as a decent WR3 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. He finally lived up to his potential after being hampered by nagging injuries in his first couple of NFL season. He'll be a nice sleeper heading into 2017.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee blanked on offense

Sun, 18 Dec 2016 15:58:20 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee was targeted three times in the Week 15 game against the Houston Texans, but he was held without a catch or any offensive yards. Lee did have a highlight-reel 100-yard kickoff return for touchdown.

Fantasy Tip: Lee killed his fantasy owners in all formats outside of those rare instances rewarding individual return yardage. He'll look to rebound in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans, but he should only be treated as a WR4 going forward.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee hits century mark

Sun, 11 Dec 2016 22:32:56 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted five receptions for a season-high 113 yards in the Week 14 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Despite a difficult matchup Lee failed to reach the end zone for the second straight outing, but he had his second 100-yard game of the season. He has emerged as a solid WR4 in all fantasy leagues, taking advantage of the injury to Allen Hurns for a larger role in the offense.

Jaguars | Another TD for Marqise Lee

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 18:46:38 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills. He also ran once for two yards.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has four receptions in each of his past four games, and at least four grabs in 10 of his 11 outings this season. He also has touchdowns in each of his past two games. As long as he can stay healthy he can be a helpful WR4 in most fantasy formats.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee finds the end zone

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 17:50:38 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted four receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Detroit Lions. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Lee visited the end zone for the first time this season, and he has really been coming on for fantasy owners in PPR leagues lately. He has four or more catches in each of the past three games, and eight of the past nine outings.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee injures ankle

Sun, 13 Nov 2016 12:24:39 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (ankle) is questionable to come back Sunday, Nov. 13, against the Houston Texans due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Tip: So much for good health. Lee had been injury-plagued this season and finally looked like he was back to full strength. Lee was considered fourth on the depth chart, so Arelious Benn could see more touches if Lee is sidelined.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee finally enjoying good health

Fri, 11 Nov 2016 10:08:31 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee has been "very impressive" and "is in a good world", according to head coach Gus Bradley. "Marqise has that X button that allows him to take off down the field. He's got a lot of juice, does a lot of different things compared to the other guys. When he gets the ball in his hands ... He runs angry and he runs fast, which is awesome," offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said.

Fantasy Tip: Lee's production (37 catches for 422 yards) is one of the few good stories in Jacksonville these days and a refreshing change from his first two injury-plagued campaigns. With the exception of a Week 8 clunker against the Tennessee Titans, Lee has at least four catches in every game since Week 1. He has established himself as a capable WR4 in all leagues.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee finishes with 84 yards

Sun, 06 Nov 2016 14:58:43 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee caught four passes for 84 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has been more involved in the passing game over the last few weeks and has posted at least 61 yards in three of the last four weeks. He still has not caught a touchdown this season but can be a decent flex options in some leagues.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee goes for triple digits

Sun, 23 Oct 2016 20:30:01 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee posted seven receptions for 107 yards in the Week 7 game against the Oakland Raiders. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has four or more receptions in each of his past five outings, and his yardage total was a season high. Allen Robinson has taken a bit of a step back this season, and that might be due to the emergence of Lee. He is worth using as a WR3 heading into Week 8 in Tennessee on Thursday Night Football.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee gaining confidence

Sat, 17 Sep 2016 09:43:04 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee is enjoying the healthiest stretch of his pro career thus far, and the third-year wideout is sensing an increased role on offense this season. "My thing is, I know if I stay healthy throughout the season, the big plays and everything are going to come. I know Blake (Bortles) is going to give me opportunities. I'm just trying to make sure I stay healthy throughout the process," Lee said.

Fantasy Tip: Lee is off to a promising start in that he has been able to been able to make it this far without falling victim to injury, but he's unlikely to ever be more than the fourth-best option in this offense behind Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and Julius Thomas. Lee is no better than a WR5 in deeper leagues.

Jaguars | Coach happy with Marqise Lee's play

Fri, 12 Aug 2016 12:10:20 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said he is happy with how WR Marqise Lee played during the first preseason game. "It was really good to see," Bradley said. "He appeared to play really fast and made a play there, a couple plays. His speed, like we said, we've just got to continue now with him." Lee finished the game with four receptions for 49 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Lee dealt with a hamstring injury earlier in training camp but appears to be fine and is competing for the No. 3 receiver job. He likely will receive limited targets because of the other pass catchers on the team but could be a late-round option in deeper leagues.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee returns to practice

Mon, 08 Aug 2016 12:11:58 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) participated fully in practice Monday, Aug. 8, and looked good doing it, according to head coach Gus Bradley. Lee said he was rusty but it felt good to be back. It's still unclear if Lee will play in the Jaguars' first preseason game Thursday, Aug. 11, against the New York Jets, but he said he'd like to play.

Fantasy Tip: Lee will be battling Rashad Greene for the No. 3 wide receiver position, although Greene seems to have the advantage right now. Lee should only be drafted for depth since he's lower in a stacked wide receiver corps.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee could play Thursday

Sun, 07 Aug 2016 21:49:02 -0700

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) did only individual work Sunday, Aug. 7, and head coach Gus Bradley said more will be known about Lee's status. The team wants to see how Lee's hamstring responds after Sunday's work. There is a chance Lee could play in the preseason opener Thursday, Aug. 11, against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has been a huge disappointment since starring at Southern California, and he needs to have a huge training camp and preseason. He is battling Rashad Greene for the No. 3 receiver job behind starters Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson. Even if he holds off Greene for the No. 3 job, he could only be worth a look as a WR5/6 in fantasy leagues of 14 or more teams.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee practices Sunday

Sun, 07 Aug 2016 07:57:36 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) returned to practice Sunday, Aug. 7.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee not ready to return

Fri, 05 Aug 2016 15:25:34 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) is not participating in practice Friday, Aug. 5.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has dealt with injuries over the last few seasons and has been sidelined for a week with his latest hamstring injury. Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation because he could be on the roster bubble if he misses more time. He still has a chance to be the No. 3 receiver for the Jaguars in 2016 but would only be a late-round option in most drafts because of his injury history.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee misses another practice

Wed, 03 Aug 2016 12:11:19 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Aug. 3. It was the fifth consecutive practice he missed.

Fantasy Tip: Lee cannot shake the injury blues, and he shouldn't be a priority in the majority of fantasy leagues this year. He's only worth a roster spot in deep settings.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee sitting out

Sat, 30 Jul 2016 07:25:33 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) is not participating in practice Saturday, July 30.

Fantasy Tip: The Jaguars probably will take things slow with Lee since he has a history of injuries since entering the NFL. Lee has a chance to be the No. 3 or No. 4 receiver for Jacksonville this season but will be a risky fantasy option because of his injury history.
