Jaguars | Marqise Lee to be No. 3 WR?

Mon, 29 Jun 2015 11:27:17 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee is slated to start behind WRs Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns, according to Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times Union.

Fantasy Tip: Lee has been dealing with a nagging knee injury this offseason, possibly giving Hurns a head start on staring opposite Robinson. This, of course, could depend on how quickly Lee recovers and how long it will take for him to acclimate to normal playing time and conditions. Lee is more of an attraction from a fantasy standpoint if he's healthy, but both should be taken as a WR5 for now.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee working way back

Wed, 24 Jun 2015 19:45:16 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) suffered a knee injury before organized team activities (OTAs), and he will need to catch up to quickly establish a Week 1 role.

Fantasy Tip: Lee is projected to be the No. 3 wide receiver behind WRs Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. Unless he can leapfrog one of the two and find his way into a starting role, he is best left to the waiver wire on draft day.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee being held out of minicamp

Tue, 16 Jun 2015 20:02:08 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) is being held out of this week's minicamp because of a left knee injury, according to head coach Gus Bradley. Bradley noted Lee will be a full participant once training camp begins.

Fantasy Tip: Lee was expected to miss minicamp, and while on the surface it isn't significant, he is missing repetitions in a new offense. As it stands, Lee is a late-round target with upside in drafts this season. He owns the physical tools to succeed, but fantasy owners will want to see it happen on the field before trusting him in their starting lineups.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee may miss minicamp

Thu, 11 Jun 2015 09:39:53 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) could be held out of minicamp next week, because he is still recovering from a knee injury he suffered earlier this offseason. He is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

Fantasy Tip: Lee does not need to rush back to practice, so sitting out the minicamp will give him several more weeks to rest his injured knee. Lee should have a solid role in the team's passing game this season and could be a late-round option in fantasy drafts.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee to miss two weeks?

Thu, 28 May 2015 15:21:32 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (knee) could miss the next two weeks of action as he continues to recover from an elbow injury he suffered last season.

Fantasy Tip: Lee said he should be OK in a couple of weeks and that he has no worries about the injury. Lee still has some improvements to make on the field after recovering off the field. He should be taken as a WR4 or WR5 for now in 2015 fantasy drafts.

Jaguars | Wednesday injury report

Wed, 17 Dec 2014 10:43:12 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars DE Andre Branch (groin) and LB Khairi Fortt (hamstring) have been ruled out for Week 16. DE Ryan Davis (knee), FS Josh Evans (foot), DT Roy Miller (knee) and WR Tommy Streeter (abdomen) are listed as questionable, while WR Marqise Lee (elbow) and DE Chris Clemons (knee) are listed as probable. Branch, Fortt and Miller did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 17. Lee and Clemons fully participated in practice, while the other players were limited.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee a full participant

Tue, 16 Dec 2014 13:13:36 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (elbow) practiced in full for the second straight day Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Lee ($3,300) is a boom-or-bust fantasy option at FantasyScore. A nice matchup against the Tennessee Titans should make you a bit more comfortable in taking the leap, though, especially if Blake Bortles (foot) plays.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee a full go

Mon, 15 Dec 2014 17:03:15 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee (elbow) practiced in full Monday, Dec. 15. The Jaguars didn't actually practice Monday, so Lee's status is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: Lee's new injury doesn't appear to be very serious, so we expect him to suit up Thursday night versus the Tennessee Titans. Lee had just four catches (nine targets) for 14 yards in Week 15. He's an intriguing talent, but until we see more, he's too risky of a start at FantasyScore, even with a promising matchup this week.

Jaguars | Allen Hurns to start

Tue, 18 Nov 2014 06:01:38 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns will replace WR Allen Robinson (foot) in the starting lineup instead of WR Marqise Lee.

Fantasy Tip: Hurns ($3,100; 6.2% of your cap) is worth considering on FantasyScore as a low-level basement flex option.

Jaguars | Marqise Lee to be more involved

Thu, 13 Nov 2014 14:28:05 -0800

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marqise Lee is expected to be more involved in the passing offense moving forward now that WR Allen Robinson (foot) is out for the rest of the year. Lee has just 13 catches for 141 yards and no touchdowns in 10 games in his rookie season. Lee has also been mentioned as a possible replacement for WR Ace Sanders as the punt returner, but the injury to Robinson likely means Sanders will retain that job.

Fantasy Tip: Cecil Shorts and Allen Hurns will benefit the most from Robinson's season-ending injury, but Lee could be a wild card down the stretch if he develops some chemistry with Blake Bortles.
