White Sox | Tim Anderson not available

Thu, 21 Jul 2016 10:06:01 -0700

Chicago White Sox SS Tim Anderson is not available at the trade deadline.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson is the White Sox's shortstop of the future, and he's looked good with a .283 average, five home runs, 11 RBI and three steals in his first taste of the majors in 33 games. However, he must improve his plate patience and take more walks (just two in 145 at-bats) in order to use his speed more and become useful in the majority of seasonal leagues at the 6.

White Sox | Tim Anderson, Avisail Garcia out

Wed, 20 Jul 2016 10:01:07 -0700

Chicago White Sox SS Tim Anderson and OF Avisail Garcia are not in the starting lineup Wednesday, July 20. SS Tyler Saladino is starting at shortstop and hitting ninth, while 1B Justin Morneau is serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup against Seattle Mariners SP Felix Hernandez. Also, OF Melky Cabrera moves into the two-hole.

Fantasy Tip: There's not much to like about Saladino hitting ninth for DFS purposes against King Felix in his return. However, both Melky and Morneau can be under-the-radar value plays in prime lineup spots. Hernandez has put up good numbers but isn't his usual dominant self this year and is making his first start back today after a long layoff.
