Cardinals | Jaron Brown gets into end zone

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 19:24:46 -0800

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown had a three-yard touchdown on his only catch in Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Tip: The score was nice, but he obviously has to see more targets before fantasy owners can trust him even in the deepest of leagues.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown leads the charge

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 17:14:05 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown posted two catches for a team-high 37 yards on five targets in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams in London.

Fantasy Tip: Brown led the team, but that's not saying much. The Arizona pass game was in disarray with Carson Palmer checking out due to a broken arm. The Cardinals are off in Week 8.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown quiet vs. Philly

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 14:32:49 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown caught three passes for 39 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Brown has been alternating good outings and bad outings this season and has been held to under 40 yards in three games in 2017. Brown can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option against most opponents.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown hits century mark

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 20:22:23 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown posted eight receptions for a game-high 105 yards on 12 targets in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Tip: Brown entered the day with six grabs for 100 yards over his past two games, so not many saw this coming. He is worth grabbing as a WR4 or WR5 in deeper fantasy leagues since Arizona is a pass-first offense with David Johnson on the shelf.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown finds end zone in MNF loss

Mon, 25 Sep 2017 22:14:01 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown logged two catches for 27 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 3 game Monday, Sept. 25, versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Tip: If not for a holding penalty, Brown would have had two touchdowns in this contest, but those who were sharp enough to plug him in will gladly settle for the one. While he only recorded two grabs, the six targets was encouraging, meaning he's drawn 17 targets total in two games. As long as John Brown remains sidelined, the other Brown could be sneaking up on the WR3 radar in many formats.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown the No. 2

Wed, 16 Aug 2017 08:24:48 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown is the second wide receiver on the depth chart, according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Fantasy Tip: Not to be confused with the more explosive John Brown, Jaron, is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament and has just a 55-700-5 line in his four-year career. He probably shouldn't be on draft boards shy of the deepest leagues.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown progressing nicely

Wed, 24 May 2017 21:53:36 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) participated in a portion of OTAs on Tuesday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 24, taking part in individual drills while sitting out team activities. Brown suffered a season-ending torn ACL last October. "We're keeping him out of the team drills because I don't want to see him cut, but he's running routes full speed. He looks great. Actually, his computer numbers are faster than they've ever been," head coach Bruce Arians said.

Fantasy Tip: With Larry Fitzgerald nearing the end, the 179-pound John Brown a bit on the small side and the 160-pound J.J. Nelson definitely on the small side, the Cardinals could use someone like the 6-2, 205-pound Jaron Brown to step up and fill the void left behind by Michael Floyd. He has yet to 22 catches in his first four seasons, however, so expectations should be tempered. He can be avoided in fantasy drafts this summer.

Cardinals | Jaron Brown making progress

Tue, 14 Mar 2017 19:48:00 -0700

Arizona Cardinals WR Jaron Brown (knee) said he's "starting to see some gains" four months removed from surgery.

Fantasy Tip: Brown tore his ACL during Seattle's Week 6 affair this past year, but before that, he was showing signs of becoming a regular part of Arizona's offense. Even so, no matter what his health is going into next season, he shouldn't be on the radar for fantasy drafts. The four-year veteran has never produced a campaign in which he recorded more than 22 receptions.
