Chiefs | Jordan Campbell signed to futures deal

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed free-agent LB Jordan Campbell (Bengals) to a futures contract. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Campbell's agent said the team wants to use Campbell at fullback.

The Cincinnati Bengals will have a very spirited competition during training camp and into the preseason, as seven players are competing for two spots. LBs Jordan Campbell, Jayson DiManche, Brandon Joiner, Aaron Maybin, Sean Porter, Vincent Rey and J.K. Schaffer will be the combatants battling each other for spots on the 53-man roster out of camp.

New Mexico Highlands LB Jordan Campbell took part in the New Mexico Pro Day Friday, March 8, and put up 35 repetitions on the bench press, a 4.58-second 40-yard dash, a 36 1/2-inch vertical, a 9-foot-7 broad jump, an 11.8 60-yard shuttle and a 4.2-second L-cone drill.
