New York Yankees OFs Matt Diaz and Juan Rivera will see more playing time in the outfield with OF Curtis Granderson (forearm) out until May with a broken forearm. OFs Zoilo Almonte, Melky Mesa and Adonis Garcia could also figure into the mix. INF Eduardo Nunez will not be used in the outfield, according to general manager Brian Cashman. The injury to Granderson likely cements OF Brett Gardner as the starting center fielder.

The New York Yankees acquired P Shawn Kelley from the Seattle Mariners Wednesday, Feb. 13, in exchange for OF Abraham Almonte.
