Chiefs | De'Anthony Thomas has plenty of confidence

Mon, 07 Jul 2014 18:22:49 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs RB De'Anthony Thomas said winning Rookie of the Year is among his goals this season. "I'm a player that nobody's ever seen step on the football field," he said.

Fantasy Tip: Although the confidence is nice, it doesn't change the fact that he is an undersized all-purpose back that will likely be used primarily in the return game this season. Thomas has the speed to make big plays, but it remains to be seen if he can earn enough touches to become a consistent fantasy factor.

Chiefs | Will find ways to get De'Anthony Thomas involved

Thu, 26 Jun 2014 12:35:13 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs RB De'Anthony Thomas should be the kickoff and punt returner in 2014. The Chiefs are making an effort to involve Thomas and put his speed to use. His size (5-foot-8, 174 pounds) is a concern, so there is a limit on how much he can be used.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas is a late-round sleeper, but might be best left to the waiver wire until his role in the offense is clear.
