Chiefs | Travis Kelce won't play in Pro Bowl |
Tue, 16 Jan 2018 14:34:11 -0800
Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (concussion) will not participate in the Pro Bowl due to a concussion he suffered in the playoffs. Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker has been named as Kelce's replacement.
Fantasy Tip: No surprise. Teams don't want their star players risking aggravation in a game that doesn't count for anything. Kelce has a concussion history, too, which makes the absence even more logical. He remains a candidate to be one of the first three tight ends selected in 2018 fantasy drafts.

Chiefs | Travis Kelce doing well |
Sun, 07 Jan 2018 19:31:37 -0800
Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (concussion) "probably would have been alright" for a playoff game this coming weekend had the Chiefs defeated the Tennessee Titans, head coach Andy Reid said Sunday, Jan. 7.
Fantasy Tip: Kelce turned in his second straight 1,000-yard campaign in 2017, and he has topped 800 yards in all four of his seasons in the league. He is no worse than the No. 2 fantasy tight end heading into 2018.

Chiefs | Travis Kelce solid before injury |
Sat, 06 Jan 2018 17:36:29 -0800
Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (concussion) caught all four of his targeted passes for 66 yards and a touchdown during the Wild Card game Saturday, Jan. 6, against the Tennessee Titans. Kelce would leave the game and enter concussion protocol.
Fantasy Tip: Kelce remains one of Kansas City's top offensive weapons, but keep an eye on the QB situation. It will take some time for Kelce to warm up to a new signal-caller if there is one. Still, pencil Kelce in as a TE1 for the offseason.

Chiefs | Travis Kelce suffers concussion |
Sat, 06 Jan 2018 15:32:19 -0800
Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (concussion) suffered a concussion during the Wild Card playoff game and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
Fantasy Tip: Kelce will need to pass the concussion tests before he is allowed to play again, so he will be considered questionable if the team advances in the playoffs. Owners will need to monitor Kelce's situation next week if the Chiefs beat the Tennessee Titans.
