Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions CB Rashean Mathis (groin) injured his groin in the first half of the Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns and he did not return. CB Darius Slay replaced Mathis at right cornerback for the remainder of the game, and reportedly played well.
