Cowboys | Terrance Williams has No. 2 job locked down

Tue, 12 Aug 2014 15:55:39 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams has done everything asked of him in training camp as the No. 2 wide receiver opposite WR Dez Bryant. The No. 3 receiver position seems to be a committee with WR Cole Beasley as the leader among TE Gavin Escobar and WRs Dwayne Harris and Devin Street.

Fantasy Tip: Williams is a big-play threat, much like Bryant, in an offense that should see him gain a sizeable increase in targets. This could be a breakout year for Williams, and he'll surely have weeks where he could carry a lineup.

Cowboys | Gavin Escobar lining up as a WR

Mon, 28 Jul 2014 20:17:28 -0700

Dallas Cowboys TE Gavin Escobar has often lined up out wide during training camp, and offensive play-caller Scott Linehan is experimenting with different ways to get him involved in the offense.

Fantasy Tip: Escobar has the size and pass-catching ability to make some noise in the red zone, and he has the overall physical tools to cause some matchup issues for opposing defenses. Keep an eye on him early in the season to see how involved he becomes in the offense.
