Packers | More touches for Christine Michael?

Fri, 02 Dec 2016 20:17:40 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael "definitely" needs more touches, according to head coach Mike McCarthy, and McCarthy said there needs to be a better "flow" in the backfield rotation.

Fantasy Tip: Michael had just one carry last week, so it is hard to see him suddenly jumping into a major role. He is merely a stash candidate at this point.

Packers | Just one touch for Christine Michael

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 21:21:21 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael had just one rush for four yards in the Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Nov. 28.

Fantasy Tip: One touch is obviously not good, and is proof fantasy owners need to avoid him going down the stretch. As long as James Starks is healthy then Michael is nothing more than a speculative pick in the deepest of leagues.

Packers | Christine Michael can contribute

Fri, 25 Nov 2016 07:08:48 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael said he knows enough of the playbook to be a big contributor in Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: James Starks is firmly ahead of him, and C-Mike probably isn't needed to be a big factor yet. The Philadelphia Eagles have been good against opposing RBs the last five weeks, and C-Mike is a very lackluster flex option.

Packers | Christine Michael ready for Week 12?

Mon, 21 Nov 2016 14:03:16 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael is being prepared to play in Week 12, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Fantasy Tip: It's unlikely that Michael would have a big role in such a limited amount of time with his new team. James Starks should still see the bulk of touches out of the backfield, but Michael is at least worth a pickup if available in traditional leagues.

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 16:03:12 -0800

Green Bay Packers LB Jayrone Elliott, OG T.J. Lang (foot), RB Christine Michael, CB Damarious Randall (groin), DT Christian Ringo, LB Jake Ryan and OG JC Tretter (knee) are inactive for the Week 11 game against the Washington Redskins.

Packers | Crash course for Christine Michael

Fri, 18 Nov 2016 19:15:37 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael said he has already picked up on some aspects of the offense, and offensive coordinator Edgar Bennett said there is a plan in place for Michael to "get him up to speed."

Fantasy Tip: You won't want to start Michael in Week 11, but he is worth stashing in case he can emerge as the lead back for a Green Bay offense that has been searching for a running game all year.

Packers | Christine Michael won't make quick splash

Wed, 16 Nov 2016 19:11:40 -0800

Green Bay Packers RB Christine Michael is unlikely to get in enough work in practice to make much, if any, impact in the Week 11 game against the Washington Redskins Sunday, Nov. 20, since he will have only a few days to get acclimated with his new team.

Fantasy Tip: Michael is worth keeping on a roster if you already owned him, as he could make an impact down the stretch for the Pack. Right now it is James Starks who is expected to see a lion's share of the carries, but Michael could see a meaningful role in the fantasy playoffs if he catches on quickly.

Packers | Christine Michael claimed by Packers

Wed, 16 Nov 2016 13:33:04 -0800

Free-agent RB Christine Michael (Seahawks) was claimed off waivers by the Green Bay Packers Wednesday, Nov. 16, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Michael is worth a waiver wire pickup in fantasy leagues, too, if he was dropped, but James Starks is still at the helm of Green Bay's backfield. He's not a bad handcuff for Starks owners, but don't get too excited over Michael's change of scenery.

Seahawks | Christine Michael released

Tue, 15 Nov 2016 14:54:50 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael was released Tuesday, Nov. 15, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: This is somewhat of a surprise given Michael's early success this season. At the same time, though, the Seahawks have an up-and-coming rookie running back in C.J. Prosise and Thomas Rawls will be returning. Michael's fantasy value likely won't be as high as it was early this season no matter where he plays next, but he won't be the worst waiver wire pickup if dropped for those who lack running back depth.

Seahawks | Christine Michael not in plans?

Tue, 15 Nov 2016 07:33:45 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael wasn't mentioned when head coach Pete Carroll discussed the matchup with his backfield against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas Rawls is expected to return for his first game since Week 2, and Carroll said he liked the way Rawls and C.J. Prosise matched up against Philly. For now, C-Mike returns to the fantasy purgatory. Rawls and Prosise are RB2 and flex options, respectively.

Seahawks | Christine Michael takes backseat

Sun, 13 Nov 2016 22:32:59 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael (hamstring) was active in the Week 10 game against the New England Patriots, but he was limited to five carries for 22 yards with one grab and four yards.

Fantasy Tip: Michael was outshined by C.J. Prosise, who gained 153 total yards from scrimmage. With Thomas Rawls likely to return from injury soon, perhaps in Week 11, and the emergence of Prosise, Michael's days as a fantasy option are coming to a close.

Seahawks | Christine Michael should play vs Pats

Sat, 12 Nov 2016 23:45:24 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael (hamstring) is expected to play against the New England Patriots in Week 10, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Michael had been added to the injury report late in the week.

Fantasy Tip: Michael being active just muddies the waters of anyone that wanted to jump on C.J. Prosise. The Seahawks haven't run the ball effectively, and New England has the firepower to put Seattle in catch up mode early on. Still, in a week with six teams on Bye, Michael could slot in as your RB3/Flex with the hope that the team actually decides to give him the ball.

Seahawks | Christine Michael questionable for Week 10

Fri, 11 Nov 2016 14:49:06 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael (hamstring) was limited in practice Friday, Nov. 11, and was a late addition to the injury report. He is listed as questionable for Week 10 against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Conspiracy theorists unite. The Seahawks have promised to get C.J. Prosise more involved and Thomas Rawls could return as soon as Week 11, so this is very bad timing for Michael considering he is coming off a one-yard game last week. For this week, however, Prosise could be a high-volume receiver out of the backfield in a game that could force Seattle to play from behind.

Seahawks | C.J. Prosise plays more snaps

Tue, 08 Nov 2016 07:46:46 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise was in on 26 snaps (55 percent of the offense) in Week 9, and RB Christine Michael played 18 snaps (38 percent of the offense) Monday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Tip: The two combined for nine touches in the game, but C-Mike did reach the end zone. We're starting to see depleted backfields as non-factors more often with hybrid quarterbacks. These two are risky flex options every week, especially against the New England Patriots this week.

Seahawks | Christine Michael mostly bottled up

Mon, 07 Nov 2016 21:53:22 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael rushed five times for just one yard in the Week 10 game against the Buffalo Bills Monday, Nov. 7. He did post a 1-yard touchdown in the victory.

Fantasy Tip: Michael was bottled up in a game featuring plenty of passing. It was an ugly stat line for Michael, but at least he found the end zone. He is nothing more than a flex option in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 10 at New England.

Seahawks | No company for Christine Michael yet

Mon, 31 Oct 2016 20:11:11 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael is likely to carry the load again in Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills Monday, Nov. 7, as RB Thomas Rawls (leg) is not expected to be ready yet, head coach Pete Carroll said Monday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Tip: Michael will face the league's 25th-ranked rush defense, as the Bills allow 118.4 yards per game with nine rushing touchdowns. Michael should be considered a RB2 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 9.

Seahawks | Christine Michael finds end zone

Sun, 30 Oct 2016 17:56:33 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael rushed 10 times for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the New Orleans Saints. He also had a catch for two yards on two targets.

Fantasy Tip: Michael continues to carry the load with Thomas Rawls on the shelf and no one else doing anything on the ground to carve into Michael's touches. He is a low-end RB2 in all fantasy leagues in Week 9 against a stingy Buffalo Bills rush defense next Monday night.

Seahawks | Christine Michael readies for big week

Wed, 26 Oct 2016 21:52:09 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael will meet the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. The Saints have allowed 116.8 yards per game on the ground with an NFL-high 11 rushing touchdowns.

Fantasy Tip: Michael will handle the lion's share of the carries in the Seattle backfield again this weekend, and he should pile up triple-digit total yardage from scrimmage with perhaps a visit to the end zone. He is a must-start RB2 in all fantasy leagues.

Seahawks | Christine Michael scores twice

Mon, 17 Oct 2016 00:16:31 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael ran for two touchdowns and finished with 18 carries and 64 yards in a 26-24 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: It appears the Seahawks may have found the running game Marshawn Lynch left behind. Scoring leagues really benefited from Michael on Sunday, although his yardage was good as well. Michael still struggles a bit, so pencil him in as an RB2 or even an RB3 in some leagues.

Seahawks | Christine Michael totals 90 yards, TD

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 18:31:53 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael rushed 18 times for 58 yards in the Week 4 game against the New York Jets and he added five receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown on six targets.

Fantasy Tip: With Thomas Rawls sidelined, it was Michael with 23 touches to just four for C.J. Spiller and one for Alex Collins. As long as Rawls is sidelined Michael is a quality RB2 in all fantasy leagues. However, the Seahawks are off in Week 5, so you'll need to go another way until Week 6 when the team returns against Atlanta.

Seahawks | Christine Michael set for 20 carries?

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 20:13:33 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael is "ready for a bigger load" against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3, according to head coach Pete Carroll, and Carroll said Michael is ready to carry the ball "20-something times" in a game.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas Rawls looks unlikely to play, making Michael a strong RB2 with RB1 upside against a 49ers defense that allowed Fozzy Whittaker to run for 100 yards last weekend.

Seahawks | Pete Carroll praises Christine Michael

Tue, 20 Sep 2016 10:06:03 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael has caught the eye of head coach Pete Carroll, who was asked about his star-crossed runner on Monday, Sept. 19. "He looks like he shot out of a cannon. He's really quick. He's just getting going. I think he's really going to get better and more efficient. He had the unfortunate turnover (in Week 2 versus the Los Angeles Rams), but other than that he really hit it really well. He must be averaging five yards a carry or something. First two games, that's pretty good," Carroll said.

Fantasy Tip: Michael is averaging five yards per carry, while the rest of the team's backs have combined for 23 yards on 22 carries. Likewise, the Texas A&M product is averaging 2.32 yards after contact (fourth among 45 qualifying players), while Thomas Rawls is averaging 0.21 (last). Michael is a strong hold in all formats and could potentially move back ahead of Rawls on the depth chart with another strong showing in Week 3 versus the San Francisco 49ers.

Seahawks | Christine Michael will still have role

Wed, 14 Sep 2016 20:07:59 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael will not start in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, as RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) has been tabbed as starter. However, Michael will still have a role doing forward. "I don't think in any way do we need to minimize what (Michael) has done. He's done a phenomenal job, he'll still get opportunity to carry the ball," offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Michael should no longer be considered a fantasy starter, but he is still worth keeping around for depth just in case Rawls has some sort of a setback. Rawls hasn't exactly been the picture of health since taking over as the primary back, so Michael could be back in a featured role sooner rather than later.

Seahawks | Thomas Rawls well behind Michael in snaps

Mon, 12 Sep 2016 14:45:33 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls saw just 22 snaps compared to RB Christine Michael's 52 snaps in Week 1. Rawls is expected to start in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, however.

Fantasy Tip: This has a committee feel to it for the time being, but Michael will limit Rawls' full potential. Rawls is the better option, but don't expect the kind of numbers he was producing late last season after Marshawn Lynch went down. The Rams gave up a nice stat line to Carlos Hyde last week, so don't be afraid to start Rawls as at least a flex this week.

Seahawks | Christine Michael shines in opener

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 22:23:47 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael carried 15 times for a game-high 66 yards in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. He split the load with RB Thomas Rawls who was much less effective, carrying for 32 yards on 12 totes.

Fantasy Tip: Michael could see a 50-50 split with Rawls until the latter is 100 percent. If he continues to produce at a high rate the split could continue. For fantasy purposes Michael should be treated as an RB3.

Seahawks | Christine Michael to start Week 1

Fri, 09 Sep 2016 17:31:46 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael will be the starting running back Week 1 with RB Thomas Rawls coming off the bench, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

Fantasy Tip: Michael and Rawls likely will share carries since Michael is coming off an impressive preseason and Rawls is coming off a serious knee injury. Rawls could be a No. 2 running back or flex option in most leagues, while Michael can be a solid fantasy option in leagues.

Seahawks | Thomas Rawls listed as the backup

Wed, 07 Sep 2016 21:00:39 -0700

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) is not listed on the injury report for Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. The team said he will play, and he remains listed as a backup to RB Christine Michael on the depth chart.

Fantasy Tip: Rawls is a risky play across the board in redraft fantasy leagues and in DFS as well. Wait until he is able to regain his starting job and play without any restrictions before trusting him.

Seahawks | Christine Michael ahead of Thomas Rawls

Tue, 06 Sep 2016 13:21:11 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael is listed ahead of RB Thomas Rawls on the Seahawks first unofficial depth chart.

Fantasy Tip: This probably has a lot to do with Rawls' progress from a serious injury and Michael's production during the preseason. Michael may see more action in Week 1, but Rawls is still the better option for the season as a whole. Assuming both play, Michael and Rawls are both startable against the Miami Dolphins this week, but it might be best to wait a week to see how the backfield pans out.

Seahawks | Christine Michael runs well again

Thu, 25 Aug 2016 21:52:41 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael had seven carries for 58 yards against the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, Aug. 25, and he has 24 carries for 157 yards in the preseason.

Fantasy Tip: Michael has earned himself a role in the offense with his performance this preseason, and he has RB1 upside if Thomas Rawls loses the starting job for whatever reason. Grab Michael as midrange RB4.

Seahawks | Teammates talk up Christine Michael

Fri, 19 Aug 2016 18:16:34 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael has learned how to use his speed, according to QB Russell Wilson, and FS Earl Thomas said the game has "slowed down" for Michael. C Justin Britt said the "whole building" can see Michael's work ethic and determination.

Fantasy Tip: Michael is having a strong preseason, and it seems increasingly likely he will be given a chance to prove his worth in the regular season. He has loads of potential, and he is worth taking a chance on as a RB4.

Seahawks | Christine Michael plays well again

Fri, 19 Aug 2016 14:59:25 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael rushed for 55 yards on 10 carries in the preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings Thursday, Aug. 18. He has rushed for 99 yards in the first two preseason games and is averaging 5.82 yards per rush.

Fantasy Tip: Michael is making a push for more playing time and could share some of the work with Thomas Rawls this season if he continues to produce. Michael could be a low-end No. 3 or a high-end No. 4 running back for fantasy owners depending on his role.

Seahawks | Bigger role for Christine Michael?

Sun, 14 Aug 2016 21:11:36 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael could be part of a "1-2 punch" with RB Thomas Rawls, according to head coach Pete Carroll, and Carroll praised Michael's consistency.

Fantasy Tip: This isn't the first time Michael has flashed his upside, but he has yet to show he can deliver when it counts. He is an excellent upside pick if you can land him in the later rounds, but don't reach.

Seahawks | Two Seattle backs to split load?

Sat, 13 Aug 2016 19:06:57 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael shined in the preseason opener Saturday, Aug. 13, against the Kansas City Chiefs, and head coach Pete Carroll had interesting comments after the game. He said when RB Thomas Rawls (knee) returns it will be "a little 1-2 punch that we are really excited about."

Fantasy Tip: Rawls has been going very early in fantasy leagues, and is a bona fide RB2 when healthy. If you plan to draft Rawls, however, you will want Michael as a handcuff in the middle rounds just in case.

Seahawks | Christine Michael shines in opener

Sat, 13 Aug 2016 14:52:37 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael continued to build upon what has been a solid camp in preseason action against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, Aug. 13, drawing the start and rushing for 44 yards on seven carries.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas Rawls was inactive as the Seahawks continue to take their time with his ankle injury, and Michael operated as the clear starter ahead of Alex Collins. The perpetual fantasy tease has been the subject of glowing reports for his newfound maturity during the offseason, so it appears he a considerable lead over the competition to be Rawls' handcuff. As such, he should make a fine upside pick in the later rounds.

Seahawks | Christine Michael's eyes wide open

Thu, 11 Aug 2016 18:44:17 -0700

Updating previous reports, Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael "had an awakening," according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas Rawls, if healthy, figures to see the lion's share of work. Michael could factor in as a later-round back if he carves out enough of a role this preseason. Rawls is in the RB2 mix after showing flashes last season.

Seahawks | Christine Michael has chance to start

Thu, 11 Aug 2016 10:51:36 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael has been working with the first-team offense since training camp started and has a legitimate chance to win the starting running back job. RBs Thomas Rawls and Alex Collins are also candidates for the starting job.

Fantasy Tip: Michael's role with the team likely will depend on how he performs during the preseason games. His value will increase if he wins the starting job and could be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues if he receives a majority of carries. He should still be a No. 3 or No. 4 back if he is the primary backup for the Seahawks.

Seahawks | Pete Carroll praises Christine Michael

Fri, 05 Aug 2016 20:31:20 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael has been "on the money" during training camp, head coach Pete Carroll said Thursday, Aug. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Michael is taking advantage of Thomas Rawls' absence to make a case for having a role in the offense. However, he has never been able to back up his preseason hype with production in the regular season. Unless Rawls is going to miss substantial time, Michael remains a late-round lottery ticket.

Seahawks | Christine Michael emerging as leader

Sun, 31 Jul 2016 13:29:23 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael is "kind of the leader in the (running back) group now", according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who added the third-year veteran has "always been explosive, but he's come a long way (maturity-wise)".

Fantasy Tip: With Thomas Rawls on PUP, Michael is getting first-team reps ahead of C.J. Prosise, Alex Collins, and Zac Brooks. Even though the 25-year-old is not a lock to make the 53-man roster, his lack of maturity and consistency have conspired to keep him from maximizing his vast potential as a pro. If he manages to get those areas in order, he could end up being the best handcuff for Rawls this season.

Seahawks | Christine Michael drops weight

Fri, 17 Jun 2016 14:14:41 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael said he lost around eight pounds this offseason and feels a little quicker. He currently weighs 217 pounds.

Fantasy Tip: Michael should be the No. 2 running back behind Thomas Rawls this season and could receive a start or two if Rawls is not ready for the regular season. He should be an option in the late rounds of draft and could be a handcuff for Rawls.

Seahawks | More running for Seattle?

Mon, 16 May 2016 14:30:11 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RBs Thomas Rawls, Christine Michael and C.J. Prosise could be called on early and often in 2016, according to WR Doug Baldwin. Baldwin said the Seahawks are going to go back to the run game and not pass as much this season.

Fantasy Tip: Rawls is still recovering from a broken ankle he suffered late last season. It's unclear exactly when Rawls will return, but he is expected to be the lead back when healthy. Rawls is a RB2 candidate assuming he's healthy to start the season, while Prosise provides some sleeper intrigue.

Seahawks | Christine Michael re-signs with Seattle

Thu, 17 Mar 2016 11:17:48 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael re-signed an undisclosed deal with the Seahawks Thursday, March 17.

Fantasy Tip: With Marshawn Lynch retired, Seattle's backfield will take on a different look in 2016, but Thomas Rawls is expected to be the Seahawks' primary ball carrier, with Michael mixing in here and there. Michael played in only three games for Seattle last year and had 39 carries for 192 yards with no scores. With Rawls coming off injury, Michael is probably worth a late-round flyer, and he's more attractive in standard-scoring setups.

Seahawks | Christine Michael will be mixed in

Fri, 15 Jan 2016 15:47:31 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael will still rotate in quite a bit in the divisional matchup with the Carolina Panthers Sunday, Jan. 17, even with RB Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) expected to return, according to head coach Pete Carroll. The Seahawks won't put Lynch through a pre-game test.

Fantasy Tip: Not only is Lynch ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) a big question mark this weekend after having not played since Nov. 15, but his return clouds the value of Michael ($6,300, 12.6% of cap), as well. We all know what Beast Mode can do when healthy, so he's a risk/reward pick this weekend.

Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch ruled himself out

Mon, 11 Jan 2016 10:23:26 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (hernia) ruled himself out for the wild-card game against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, Jan. 10, because "he just didn't feel like he had it," according to head coach Pete Carroll. Carroll said he has no idea if Lynch will play in the divisional round against the Carolina Panthers. RB Christine Michael had a team-high 70 yards on 21 carries against the Vikings.

Fantasy Tip: There's no guarantee Lynch will play against the Panthers, and you shouldn't count on it at FantasyScore. Michael will once again be the better choice, but he faces a tough matchup and is likely only useful as a contrarian play this weekend.

Seahawks | Christine Michael to start at RB

Sun, 10 Jan 2016 09:01:51 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael will be the starting running back in the NFC wild-card game against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, Jan. 10. RB Marshawn Lynch (hernia) was ruled out despite being a full participant in practice during the week.

Fantasy Tip: Michael ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) has rushed for 192 yards in three games since re-signing with the club, including 102 yards on 17 carries in last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. He makes an intriguing option in FantasyScore this week, although the Minnesota defense was tied for the third-fewest rushing touchdowns allowed during the regular season.

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 19:42:14 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael had six carries for six yards and two catches for 14 yards in a 23-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: After a breakout performance the previous week, Michael was an absolute bust. He remains tough to trust at FantasyScore, and be prepared to be disappointed if you take a chance on him in Week 17.

Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch won't be ready

Mon, 21 Dec 2015 16:17:47 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (hernia) is making good progress but will not return to practice this week and won't be ready to play in Week 16 against the St. Louis Rams, according to head coach Pete Carroll. The Seahawks haven't set a timetable for when Lynch might return, and Seattle hopes he can help them in January for the playoffs. RBs Christine Michael and Bryce Brown will continue sharing in the backfield with Lynch out.

Fantasy Tip: It's unlikely that Lynch will play again in the regular season, and Seattle will likely hold him out so that he can be healthy for the playoffs. Michael should be your first target off the waiver wire for championship tilts this week, and both he and Brown could be effective in flex spots on FantasyScore against the Rams.

Seahawks | Two Seattle RBs to work with starters

Mon, 21 Dec 2015 16:15:30 -0800

Seattle Seahawks RBs Christine Michael and Bryce Brown will both receive time with the first-team offense during practice this week, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

Fantasy Tip: Michael and Brown both received carries during the team's Week 15 game and had success on the ground. Michael rushed for 84 yards on 16 carries, while Brown rushed for 43 yards on nine carries. Owners should monitor the situation during the week to see if one of the players will receive a majority of the carries. Michael may have a little more value, but both could be decent fantasy options.

Seahawks | Christine Michael more focused

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 18:05:11 -0800

The consensus in the Seattle Seahawks locker room is RB Christine Michael is more focused and serious this time around with the team.

Fantasy Tip: Michael rolled up 84 yards on 16 carries in his first game back with the team. He might be the back to carry the mail down the stretch and into the playoffs due to his familiarity with the system.
