Lions | Theo Riddick plays starter's snaps

Mon, 26 Sep 2016 05:28:55 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick played in 45 of the 68 offensive snaps in Week 3. RB Dwayne Washington played in 25 snaps.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick had 10 rushes for just nine yards but caught seven balls for 39. Washington rushed 10 times for 38 yards, and he could start to see a bigger role. Riddick is an RB3, and Washington is a flex option against the Chicago Bears next week.

Lions | Zach Zenner could be involved Week 3

Sat, 24 Sep 2016 10:23:02 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Zach Zenner may serve as the team's goal-line back and possibly four-minute back during the absence of Ameer Abdullah, according to ESPN's Michael Rothstein. Theo Riddick is still expected to see slightly more work, while Dwayne Washington is expected to absorb at least some of Abdullah's early-down role.

Fantasy Tip: Rothstein supports his case by saying Zenner is bigger than Riddick and has better ball security than Washington, but it's hard to believe Washington's new early-down workload will be so significant that he cannot continue to serve as the goal-line back as well. Zenner will likely be active on game day while Abdullah is away, but it's far from a lock he'll slide into Washington's old role.

Lions | Theo Riddick to take over

Wed, 21 Sep 2016 06:18:48 -0700

Updating an earlier report, Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah (foot) is out for the season, and RB Theo Riddick will get the first crack as the team's top back. RB Dwayne Washington and RB Zach Zenner will back him up.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has been productive as a receiver, but he hasn't really proven to be a consistent runner. Washington has the tools to do both and is the dark horse here. Riddick is likely already owned, and he's a low-end RB2 for now. Washington has flex appeal against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.

Lions | Theo Riddick quiet Sunday

Sun, 18 Sep 2016 14:03:48 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick ran 11 times for 37 yards and caught passes for 28 yards in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Sept. 18. RB Ameer Abdullah (foot) left early, but Riddick wasn't able to capitalize on the extra work.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick is primarily a PPR weapon for fantasy owners. Any increased workload in the running game is gravy. Watch Abdullah's status for Week 3, but Riddick is a midrange flex play either way against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Lions | Theo Riddick improving as a runner

Sat, 17 Sep 2016 17:42:59 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick played 24 snaps and had seven carries for 45 yards in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts, and offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said Riddick has spent a lot of time with running backs coach David Walker to improve his vision and ability to read blocks.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick is one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL, and if he continues to see a handful of carries, he will be a legit RB2 in PPR formats. For now, consider him a solid flex play in PPR leagues and must-have handcuff to Ameer Abdullah in standard leagues.

Lions | Theo Riddick able to return to game

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 16:35:13 -0700

Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (head) was able to return to the Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth quarter after apparently passing his concussion evaluation.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick left the game after having his bell rung, but apparently satisfied all of the league's mandated concussion requirements. That's good news for fantasy owners in fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats.

Lions | Theo Riddick exits with head injury

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 16:11:24 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (head) left the Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts due to a head injury. He is being evaluated for a concussion.

Fantasy Tip: Before Riddick left he posted a rushing touchdown while also grabbing three receptions. When healthy he is a valuable RB3 in fantasy formats which reward points per reception (PPR). If he is forced to miss time it's good news for Ameer Abdullah, who figures to see even more touches.

Lions | Theo Riddick inks three-year extension

Fri, 09 Sep 2016 09:04:41 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $12.5 million Friday, Sept. 9, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick was a solid PPR option last season with 80 receptions and 830 yards from scrimmage. However, there could be a slight decline in his volume with Ameer Abdullah potentially taking a step forward in his second season. Riddick is also nothing more than a depth piece in standard leagues because he isn't a touchdown threat on the ground with one career rushing score through his first three seasons.

Lions | Detroit backup RBs could be busy

Wed, 31 Aug 2016 20:20:42 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah wants to be the every-down back, but head coach Jim Caldwell indicated Tuesday, Aug. 30, he will keep his running-back-by-committee approach, meaning plenty of reps could be in the offing for RBs Theo Riddick, Zach Zenner and Dwayne Washington, in that order. "I think you have to spread it out a little bit," Caldwell said.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has the most fantasy appeal of the group, as he could see plenty of touches in the red zone and is a force out of the backfield as a receiver. You should take a wait-and-see approach with Zenner and Washington, as it might take an injury to Abdullah or Riddick to give them any fantasy appeal.

Lions | Theo Riddick worked with starters

Fri, 19 Aug 2016 14:19:40 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick received all of the snaps with the first-team offense during the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 18, in part because RB Ameer Abdullah (shoulder) did not play.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick will have a solid role on offense even when Abdullah will be able to play again. He should be a valuable option for owners in point-per-reception leagues since he caught 80 passes last season. He could be a weekly flex option in PPR leagues and a No. 3 or No. 4 running back in standard leagues.

Lions | Theo Riddick misses first pads practice

Sun, 31 Jul 2016 15:44:48 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (undisclosed) missed the team's first practice in pads on Sunday, July 31, with a minor undisclosed injury.

Fantasy Tip: The team believes Riddick's injury is not serious, but it does hinder his ability to develop behind RB Ameer Abdullah. Riddick is an RB2 to high-end RB3 selection at best in fantasy leagues.

Lions | Stevan Ridley the favorite for No. 3

Sun, 17 Jul 2016 12:01:30 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Stevan Ridley seems to be the frontrunner for the No. 3 running back position behind RBs Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick, according to Tim Twentyman of detroitlions.com. Ridley would provide a change of pace from Abdullah and Riddick, but he'll still have to prove himself after missing most of the offseason with an undisclosed injury.

Fantasy Tip: Ridley may vulture a touchdown here and there when the Lions are in goal-line situations, but he can mostly be avoided as long as Abdullah and Riddick are healthy.

Lions | More running for Theo Riddick?

Thu, 09 Jun 2016 16:58:46 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick could have a bigger role running the ball in 2016, according to offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick really broke out as a PPR machine last season. He'll have to split touches with Ameer Abdullah, but Riddick is still a low-end RB2 to high-end RB3 option in PPR formats.

Lions | Theo Riddick open to extension

Sun, 13 Mar 2016 18:49:15 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick said he is open to signing a contract extension, though no talks have taken place.

Fantasy Tip: At the very least, Riddick should be a solid starting option in points-per-reception formats in 2016, and with the potential for a bigger role in the run game, he could be a weekly flex option in traditional formats.

NFL | C.J. Prosise wants to emulate Lion

Sat, 05 Mar 2016 10:39:21 -0800

Notre Dame RB C.J. Prosise said he wants to transition to the NFL the way Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick has, who played wide receiver at Notre Dame. "That's something I've been trying to mimic, kind of what he's done and try to take the steps that he's taken."

Fantasy Tip: Riddick is coming off a career year in which he led the NFL in receiving among running backs. Prosise isn't expected to be drafted high, but he could provide someone with depth at running back and another pass-catching threat out of the backfield. He won't be an immediate fantasy factor, though.

Lions | Theo Riddick could have bigger role

Tue, 16 Feb 2016 11:34:02 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick, who led all running backs in catches last year after starting fourth on Detroit's depth chart, could be in line for a much bigger role in 2016. Riddick played most of the year behind RBs Joique Bell and Ameer Abdullah, too. Former NFL RB Marshall Faulk indicated Bell likely played more because he was being paid more. Riddick will likely be headed toward a bigger role next year regardless of what happens with Bell's contract.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick will look very intriguing as Detroit's second back if they decide to cut Bell this offseason. But either way, Riddick has tons of potential and value, especially in point-per-reception formats in Jim Bob Cooter's offense.

Lions | Theo Riddick sets club record

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 19:54:42 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick posted four receptions in the Week 17 game against the Chicago Bears to set a club record for catches by a running back (80) in a single season.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick emerged as a useful fantasy option down the stretch, especially for those in formats which reward points per reception (PPR). He might be an interesting player heading into 2016, depending on what personnel and coaching moves the team makes in the offseason.

Lions | Theo Riddick attains franchise record

Mon, 28 Dec 2015 13:52:27 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick set a single-season franchise record for receiving yards by a running back. On the season Riddick has 76 catches for 668 receiving yards.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has been one of the biggest fantasy surprises in PPR leagues this year. Interestingly, Riddick is only two receptions behind Calvin Johnson on the season. Riddick is comfortably in RB2 territory for PPR drafts next year.

Lions | Theo Riddick busy in passing game

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 17:52:21 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick had seven carries for 20 yards and seven catches for 63 yards in a 32-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has five or more catches in five of his last six games, and while his carries vary from one week to the next, his work in the passing game makes him a viable flex option in PPR formats.

Lions | Theo Riddick solid in passing game

Thu, 26 Nov 2015 14:59:41 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick caught five passes for 62 yards and a touchdown in a blowout win over the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday, Nov. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has been one of the most consistent pass-catching running backs in all of the NFL this year. He should be regarded as an every-week starter in PPR scoring formats.

Lions | Ameer Abdullah not in doghouse

Thu, 12 Nov 2015 11:46:52 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah's diminished role in recent weeks has been a product of game situations and not because of the fumbling problems that he's had in his rookie season. "Every game's a little different, and I think some games you'll see him with the ball in his hands a little bit more, some games (you'll see) Joique Bell and Theo Riddick," head coach Jim Caldwell said. "I think you'll see them carry it some as well. So it just kind of depends on the ball game as to how we approach it." Abdullah had a season-low five snaps in the Week 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs and finished with one carry for only three yards. He has only 201 yards and four fumbles since his 24-yard touchdown run on his first carry in Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: Abdullah ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) still has heaps of potential and carries the most upside out of the Detroit running backs. However, it's been a struggle on a bad team that often falls behind early, and he has to deal with Bell and Riddick, too. Abdullah's role is expected to increase, but until we see proof, it's too hard to rely on him at FantasyScore.

Lions | Joique Bell, Theo Riddick probable

Fri, 23 Oct 2015 13:57:30 -0700

Detroit Lions RBs Joique Bell (ankle) and Theo Riddick (groin) are both listed as probable for Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings. Riddick was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 23, while Bell practiced in full.

Fantasy Tip: Having Bell ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) back in the picture with Ameer Abdullah and Riddick ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) complicates matters for fantasy owners looking to start any of this trio. The Vikes aren't shabby against running backs this year, either. This is probably a situation to avoid entirely in fantasy circles, but Riddick has more upside in PPR formats like FantasyScore.

Lions | Two Detroit RBs limited

Thu, 22 Oct 2015 14:22:24 -0700

Detroit Lions RBs Joique Bell (ankle) and Theo Riddick (groin) were limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Bell ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) was actually downgraded from yesterday, so he'll really need to be monitored as game day nears. Riddick has been a PPR stud all year and is worth a look on FantasyScore at $4,800 (9.6% of cap), especially if Bell is ruled out.

Lions | Theo Riddick listed as limited

Wed, 21 Oct 2015 13:09:12 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (groin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should monitor the situation to see if Riddick ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) is in any danger of missing the Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Riddick should be a solid option in point-per-reception leagues if he is active because he has caught at least five passes in four of his last five games and at least 50 yards in three of those games.

Lions | Theo Riddick ready to play

Sun, 18 Oct 2015 09:38:39 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (groin) is officially active for the Week 6 game against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) probably will continue to be a strong receiving option out of the backfield, which makes him a good starting option in point-per-reception leagues.

Lions | Joique Bell, Theo Riddick questionable

Fri, 16 Oct 2015 13:38:09 -0700

Detroit Lions RBs Joique Bell (ankle) and Theo Riddick (groin) are both questionable for Week 6 against the Chicago Bears. Bell practiced in full for the third straight day Friday, Oct. 16, while Riddick was held out Friday. Riddick suffered his groin injury in practice this week. RBs Ameer Abdullah and Zach Zenner would be heavily relied on if both Bell and Riddick are held out.

Fantasy Tip: Because Bell ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) practiced all week, he seems to have the better chance of playing over Riddick ($3,900, 7.8% of cap). If both are active, this will probably be a tough backfield to predict against the Bears.

Lions | Theo Riddick, Golden Tate limited

Thu, 15 Oct 2015 14:45:42 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick (groin) and WR Golden Tate (hip) were both limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 15.

Fantasy Tip: Neither injury appears serious and both should be able to play against the Chicago Bears. Riddick ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) has become the most trusted pass-catching back for Detroit, and he should continue to see work even with Joique Bell returning. Consider Riddick a sleeper pick as a flex. Tate ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) hasn't done much yet but has a fine matchup to break out in Week 6.

Lions | Theo Riddick producing in 2015

Tue, 13 Oct 2015 17:52:31 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick leads all running backs in targets (36), is tied for second in receiving touchdowns (2) and is fourth in receiving yards (228).

Fantasy Tip: Riddick has been consistently involved in the passing game this year for the Lions. With Joique Bell hampered and Ameer Abdullah not producing lately, Riddick has taken advantage of the opportunities he's been given. Given the Lions' lack of a running game, Riddick should continue to produce. He's still a great value play versus the Chicago Bears at $3,900 (7.8% of cap) on FantasyScore.

Lions | Theo Riddick busy in passing game

Sun, 11 Oct 2015 19:53:50 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick had a team-high 10 catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in a 42-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) saw a majority of the work on passing downs after Ameer Abdullah ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) spent large stretches on the bench after fumbling twice. If Abdullah remains in the doghouse, Riddick could be a sneaky add in points-per-reception formats.

Lions | Six total touches for Theo Riddick

Mon, 05 Oct 2015 21:43:56 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick ran once for five yards in the Week 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks Monday, Oct. 5, and he added five receptions for 31 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) has six total touches, but it was rather disappointing considering Joique Bell was inactive and Riddick's workload didn't improve all that much. He cannot be trusted in FantasyScore.

Lions | Ameer Abdullah plays more

Mon, 14 Sep 2015 07:22:06 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah (21) played more snaps than RB Joique Bell (18) and RB Theo Riddick (8) in Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: Abdullah ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) had seven rushes for 50 yards and four catches for 44 yards in the game. The fact that Abdullah played more than Bell is a bit moot because the team plans to use the hot hand in the committee. Bell ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) could be the leader as a midrange option on FantasyScore next week against the Minnesota Vikings.

Lions | Ameer Abdullah impressed in aerial game

Thu, 10 Sep 2015 06:10:24 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah is a better receiver than the team thought he was, and beat writer Tim Twentyman said Abdullah is a better receiver than former Lions RB Reggie Bush was. The team figures to use Abdullah a lot in the receiving game, and his role will likely dip into RB Theo Riddick's role.

Fantasy Tip: Abdullah ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) should be involved quite a bit, and he's at a midrange price on FantasyScore against the San Diego Chargers.

Lions | Coach happy with Theo Riddick's play

Fri, 14 Aug 2015 15:32:00 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick showed good skills during his performance in the first preseason game, according to head coach Jim Caldwell. "You know, Theo ran well. Theo got some tough yards, great effort plays and then also he made some people miss, which he's certainly capable of doing," Caldwell said. "So it was fun to get an opportunity to see him go at it a little bit and I thought on the ground he was productive." Riddick finished the game with 35 yards on eight carries.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick probably will start the season behind Joique Bell and Ameer Abdullah on the depth chart, but he should still have a role in the offense as a receiver out of the backfield. Riddick probably will have more value in point-per-reception leagues but could be a late-round pick in any league.

Lions | Theo Riddick listed as starter

Mon, 10 Aug 2015 13:37:48 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick is listed as the starting running back on the team's first depth chart since RB Joique Bell (Achilles', knee) is on the Physically Unable to Perform list. RB Ameer Abdullah is listed as the No. 2 running back on the depth chart.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick is listed as the starter for now but things should change as the preseason goes on. Riddick should have more value in point-per-reception leagues since he likely will be used as a receiver out of the backfield. Bell and Abdullah could be middle-round options in drafts if they share work at the position.

Lions | Theo Riddick likely to have similar role

Sun, 09 Aug 2015 11:07:48 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick is expected to have a similar role in 2015 than he did last season but could see more time in the slot.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick was used mostly as a receiver out of the backfield last season and will have more value in point-per-reception leagues if he receives a similar role. Riddick could be a late-round option in PPR leagues because of his receiving skills but may not be a great option in standard leagues.

Lions | Teammate high on Theo Riddick

Fri, 29 May 2015 11:08:57 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick should have a solid role in the offense this upcoming season because of his ability, according to QB Dan Orlovsky. "Theo's too good to not put on the field," Orlovsky said. "Theo has stuff that you can't coach, that you can't teach, that you're born from God with. He just has an ability to get open better than everyone else." Orlovsky said he believes Riddick can have 60 catches in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick likely will not start for the Lions this season but could be a weapon in the passing game. Riddick likely will have more value in point-per-reception leagues and could be an option in late rounds in those leagues. He could also be a depth option in standard leagues.

Lions | Theo Riddick's role to expand

Tue, 31 Mar 2015 10:22:51 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick will have his role expanded in 2015. The team may opt to draft a running back in the NFL Draft, so how much his role will expand has yet to be determined.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick is an excellent receiver out of the backfield, but he hasn't shown a lot in the running game yet. He could wind up being an RB3 with upside in PPR formats.

Lions | Theo Riddick may have better role

Thu, 26 Feb 2015 11:17:08 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick likely will be given the chance to earn a bigger role in the offense next season after the team released RB Reggie Bush.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick did not receive a lot of carries this past season but was involved in the passing game. He caught 34 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns during the season. Riddick likely will have more value in point-per-reception leagues than he will in standard leagues, but probably will be a mid- to late-round pick in most drafts.

Comment (0) | Share: Tweet!Share on Facebook | Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein

Lions | Reggie Bush remains confident

Thu, 11 Dec 2014 15:45:25 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush (ankle) and the coaching staff believe that he can return to form and be one of the most dangerous weapons out of the backfield. Bush has missed five games because of injuries this year, and he had just 12 touches for 34 total yards in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. RB Theo Riddick didn't play at all, but offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi said that was a one-game anomaly.

Fantasy Tip: It's hard to say if Bush ($4,000) will be at full health before the end of the season. For right now, though, Joique Bell ($6,600) is the better play at FantasyScore, and Theo Riddick ($3,600) isn't a smart play with Bush back.

Lions | Theo Riddick without a role?

Tue, 09 Dec 2014 14:45:09 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick doesn't have much of a role in the offense right now, because RB Reggie Bush is more valuable as both a runner and a receiver. Bush is averaging 1.1 more yards per carry than Riddick and has more speed than him, too. Riddick hasn't shown much ability as a pure running back, making the offense predictable when he's on the field. The Lions have run 25 times of Riddick's 133 snaps this year.

Fantasy Tip: Bush's return has really made Riddick useless for fantasy football owners; Riddick wasn't used at all in Week 14. Don't bother looking at him for $3,600 at FantasyScore this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. Bush ($4,000) should start being considered again as a flex option in PPR leagues like FantasyScore.

Lions | Theo Riddick not being punished

Mon, 08 Dec 2014 12:19:49 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick's lack of playing time in Week 14 was not because he was being punished, according to head coach Jim Caldwell. Riddick saw just seven snaps on special teams.

Fantasy Tip: With Joique Bell and Reggie Bush healthy, Riddick's value will be limited going forward, especially if Sunday's game was any indication of his future usage.

Lions | Theo Riddick saw little action

Mon, 08 Dec 2014 07:04:15 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick played seven snaps Sunday, Dec. 7, all of which were on special teams. Head coach Jim Caldwell said it was determined by the flow of the game.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick's value plummeted with Reggie Bush's (ankle) return, but he could still be a factor in the final three games.

Lions | Reggie Bush, Theo Riddick probable

Fri, 05 Dec 2014 14:08:43 -0800

Detroit Lions RBs Reggie Bush (ankle, back) and Theo Riddick (toe) are probable for Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Riddick was limited in practice Friday, Dec. 5, while Bush practiced in full for the third straight day.

Fantasy Tip: Despite an excellent matchup against the Bucs, Bush ($4,900) isn't a smart play if he returns, due to his long layoff and the fact that he could be limited. Joique Bell ($5,900) is the one to play in this backfield in Week 14.

Lions | Reggie Bush out Sunday

Sat, 15 Nov 2014 15:39:05 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush (ankle) will be held out of the game Sunday, Nov. 16, in Week 11. RBs Joique Bell and Theo Riddick will split time in the backfield.

Fantasy Tip: Bell ($4,900; 9.8% of your cap) and Riddick ($4,300; 8.6%) are both fairly priced flex options on FantasyScore this week against the New England Patriots.

Lions | Reggie Bush sees light work

Mon, 10 Nov 2014 07:34:52 -0800

Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush played just 19 offensive snaps Sunday, Nov. 9, which was 28% of the offense. In contrast, RB Joique Bell played 67% of the snaps and RB Theo Riddick played 10% of the snaps.

Fantasy Tip: Bush had four carries for 20 yards and one reception for five yards in Week 10. Clearly, he has been banged up, but one has to wonder if this is also part of his inevitable decline at the age of 29. Avoid him on FantasyScore until he becomes more involved in the offense.

Lions | Lions will still use Theo Riddick

Thu, 30 Oct 2014 11:03:26 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Theo Riddick will continue to have a role in the offense even when RB Reggie Bush (ankle) returns to the lineup, according to head coach Jim Caldwell.

Fantasy Tip: Riddick would share time with Bush and Joique Bell but has earn some playing time since he has produced in the running and passing game. Riddick would be a flex option for owners in some weeks and would be valuable in point-per-reception leagues.
