Fantasy Tip: There are a few days before the official injury report comes out, so Woods could improve over the next few days. Owners should have a backup plan ready in case Woods is not able to play. If he is able to play, he should be considered a flex option with a chance to have more value if EJ Manuel starts.

Tue, 29 Oct 2013 16:03:26 -0700
Buffalo Bills rookie WR Robert Woods developed some nice chemistry with QB EJ Manuel early in the season, but his production has dropped since QB Thaddeus Lewis has taken over for the injured Manuel. "I think his production numbers are down," head coach Doug Marrone said. "But not his playing time. He's playing more than anybody." Woods has played in 565 of the team's 592 offensive snaps this year. Marrone suggested that opposing defenses may be paying more attention to Woods now.
Fantasy Tip: A drop in production was expected going from Manuel to Lewis throwing Woods the football. If the team targets Woods more often going forward, as he suggests, his production could be back on the rise. However, for now, consider Woods more of a flex play in deeper leagues.

Sun, 13 Oct 2013 08:55:18 -0700
Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (back, non-injury) has been declared inactive for Week 6.

Fri, 04 Oct 2013 10:49:56 -0700
Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel (knee) is dealing with a lateral collateral ligament injury and will miss a few weeks.
Fantasy Tip: Manuel will be back, but until then, the team's fantasy-relevant receivers - Stevie Johnson (back), Robert Woods, Scott Chandler - will take a value hit with Jeff Tuel at the helm. Expect Buffalo to lean more on Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller in the coming weeks.
Wed, 14 Aug 2013 18:09:01 -0700
The Buffalo Bills might keep six wide receivers on their 53-man roster. WRs Stevie Johnson, Robert Woods, T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin are believed to be locks for the top four spots. Mon, 29 Jul 2013 22:56:20 -0700
Buffalo Bills QB Kevin Kolb has been praising rookie WR Robert Woods. Kolb says Woods has been impressive, including his route running patience and savvy. "Stud. I mean, legitimately a stud," Kolb said Monday, July 29. "I've bragged on him a lot in the last two days and really through camp."
Fantasy Tip: The wide receiver jobs behind Stevie Johnson are wide open, so Woods could make a huge impact right out of the gate with a strong training camp and preseason. Fantasy owners should monitor the situation closely. If Woods wins a starting job, he would be worthy of a WR3/4 or flex spot in leagues of 12 or more teams.

Mon, 08 Jul 2013 12:10:11 -0700
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods said he believes he is a complete receiver because he can pick up first downs but could also be a playmaker in the open field. "I can be a possession receiver because I can catch the quick passes and pick up the first down, but I can also make a guy miss and go the distance. So I would say I'm probably more of a complete receiver because I can do it all. I can play inside or outside," Woods said. Woods is expected to have the chance to contribute immediately at different receiver spots.

Mon, 20 May 2013 14:08:05 -0700
Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said he could use WR Robert Woods both outside and in the slot position in his rookie season.
Fantasy Tip: T.J. Graham can also fill the slot position for Buffalo, but Woods is a much more versatile receiver. Expect Woods to see plenty of snaps in this offense, which will make him a late-round pick in drafts this year. However, it's tough to envision Woods making a big fantasy splash in his first season and with uncertainty at the quarterback position.
Sun, 19 May 2013 18:26:41 -0700
The Buffalo Bills reached a four-year deal with WR Robert Woods Sunday, May 19. Woods was in California for the NFLPA's rookie premiere this weekend, and is expected to sign the contract with Buffalo in the next few days.
Fantasy Tip: Woods is projected to be the No. 2 wide receiver opposite Stevie Johnson. As such, Woods will be worth a look in the middle to late rounds in re-draft leagues, and a bit higher in long-term keeper formats.

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods said he is a good fit for the Bills offense because he played in a West Coast offense while at Southern California. "I'd say it's a perfect fit going to that offense," said Woods. "We're going to have a great scheme with these coaches. Just having a history of the West Coast offense and going into this the only thing that's going to change really is the terminology. I'm looking forward to playing in it. I know it's going to be a fast offense." Woods is expected to contribute on offense immediately.

The Buffalo Bills selected Southern California WR Robert Woods with the 41st overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Tip: The Bills are intent on beefing up their offensive production after picking EJ Manuel and Woods with their first two selections in the 2013 NFL Draft. Woods has a bit of an attitude, but he could develop into a very productive NFL player. Kevin Kolb will remain in the picture unless Manuel impresses in camp. For now, don't expect Woods to set the world on fire in his rookie year with the QB position in flux.
