Suspended Miami Dolphins DE Dion Jordan has been working out with San Francisco-based trainer Tareq Azim. Azim told USA TODAY Sports that Jordan has lost 12 to 13 pounds of fat and is working out two times a day and doing physical therapy. Jordan is also required to read and perform "a good deed a day" in Azim's program. The Dolphins haven't had contact with Jordan during his latest absence.

Jordan said he has not used drugs since well before a diluted sample in December of 2014 that caused his one-year ban from the league. It's unclear if Jordan will be retained by the Dolphins if/when he is reinstated, however. Team officials have said they'll address Jordan's status when he is reinstated, which usually takes 30 to 45 days from the time the reinstatement is filed.
