Cowboys | Terrance Williams targeted six times

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 17:24:37 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams racked up four receptions for 34 yards on six targets in the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Tip: Williams has managed at least three receptions in each of his four outings, but he is still only worth using in deeper PPR formats as a WR4 due to his lack of big yardage totals and touchdowns. The Cowboys host the Packers in Week 5.

Cowboys | Questionable tag for Terrance Williams

Sat, 23 Sep 2017 15:10:27 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 3 game.

Fantasy Tip: Williams has recorded 10 catches and 85 yards in the first two games and will continue to start opposite Dez Bryant. Owners in most leagues probably will be able to find better options, but Williams could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams practices Saturday

Sat, 23 Sep 2017 10:09:06 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) was back at practice Saturday, Sept. 23, putting him on track to play on Monday Night Football versus the Arizona Cardinals to conclude Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: While Williams lacks for consistency in fantasy, he has yet to miss a game over his four-plus year career. With Patrick Peterson likely to shadow Dez Bryant for the bulk of the game, the Cowboys will likely need Williams, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten to do a lot of the heavy lifting in the passing game this week. Nevertheless, Williams is only worth the fantasy start in very deep leagues.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams misses practice Friday

Sat, 23 Sep 2017 06:46:15 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) was added to the injury report after not practicing Friday, Sept. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Regardless of his availability for Week 3's contest against the Arizona Cardinals, Williams should be nowhere near your fantasy starting lineups. He is arguably the Cowboys' fifth-best option in the passing game right now, behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley, Jason Witten and Ezekiel Elliott.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams doesn't do much

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 20:48:01 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams hauled in four balls in Week 2 against the Broncos, but he managed just 17 yards on his five targets.

Fantasy Tip: Williams led the way in Week 1 against the Giants, but his statistics reflected his status on the depth chart better in this one. He is the fourth option in the pass game behind Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten, and perhaps even fifth behind Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys meet the Cardinals in Week 3 on Monday night. Williams is nothing more than a WR5 at this point in most fantasy formats.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams officially active

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 12:46:38 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 2 game.

Fantasy Tip: Williams will be one of the starting receivers for the Cowboys but is facing a tough Denver Broncos defense. Owners probably should bench Williams this week if they have better options to use.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams expected to play

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 06:09:14 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) is expected to play in Week 2's game against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: Williams was listed as questionable on the injury report but was only able to log a limited practice session Friday, Sept. 15, after spending part of the week in a walking boot. Although he had six receptions for 68 yards against the New York Giants in Week 1, he has a challenging matchup versus Denver, so it's probably best to avoid using him this week.

Cowboys | Week 2 injury report for Dallas

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 12:43:02 -0700

Dallas Cowboys LB Anthony Hitchens (knee) and CB Orlando Scandrick (hand) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2. S Byron Jones (groin) and WR Terrance Williams (ankle) were limited in practice Friday, Sept. 15, and are listed as questionable. CBs Chidobe Awuzie (ankle) and Jourdan Lewis (hamstring) each participated fully in practice Friday for the third straight day and are not on the injury report.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams remains sidelined

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 10:09:33 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Williams has a really tough matchup versus the Denver Broncos anyway, so being hampered and not able to practice makes it that much harder to put him in starting lineups. It's best to bench Williams this week, even after a solid Week 1 outing in which he caught six of seven targets for 68 yards.

Cowboys | Terrance Williams does not practice

Wed, 13 Sep 2017 14:41:07 -0700

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams (ankle) was unable to practice Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Fantasy Tip: Williams, who was in a walking boot earlier in the week, amassed six receptions for 68 yards in Week 1 against the Giants. He left the game briefly, but was able to return and finish up. If he is unable to suit up in Week 2 it would mean Brice Butler would likely assume the No. 3 receiver job behind Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley.
