Miami (Ohio) quarterback Zac Dysert (hamstring) suffered a slight tear to his right hamstring Monday, Feb. 11, as he was preparing for the NFL combine. Dysert is expected to miss three to four weeks, but is expected to throw during Miami's pro day March 21.

Miami (OH) QB Zac Dysert struggled during the Senior Bowl week despite showing a strong arm. Most of the time, he didn't show much zip on the ball and struggled to throw tight spirals. Dysert's passes often fluttered to his receivers, and he lacked accuracy. He did not look like he had the talent to play in the NFL this week.

Four NFL teams could select a quarterback in the first round of the NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Mike Mayock. The top quarterback's at the Senior Bowl that could be selected in the first round are N.C. State's Mike Glennon, Arkansas' Tyler Wilson, Miami of Ohio's Zac Dysert and Syracuse's Ryan Nassib, according to Mayock.

The Cincinnati Bengals appear to be searching for a backup quarterback to QB Andy Dalton with QB Bruce Gradkowski headed for free agency this offseason. However, they don't want to push Dalton out of the starting role, so they are unlikely to use early draft picks on a QB. Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese will take a look at North Carolina State QB Mike Glennon, Florida State QB EJ Manuel, Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson, Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib and University of Miami QB Zac Dysert this week. Glennon has been receiving the most praise from evaluators, and they believe he might be in the best position to succeed immediately in the NFL.
