Nationals | Jordan Zimmermann has biceps strain

Sat, 12 Jul 2014 21:09:42 -0700

Washington Nationals SP Jordan Zimmermann (biceps) has a right biceps strain but no structural damage, as shown by the results of an MRI performed Saturday, July 12. The club doesn't believe Zimmermann will need a stint on the disabled list.

Fantasy Tip: Good timing with the All-Star Game, which should help Zimmermann with extra healing time. If he needs to miss more time, Blake Treinen may get another chance at NL-only value.
