Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys KR Michael Bates, who saw his first action with the Cowboys in Week 17, will likely remain the team's kick returner. Bates could also be added to the team's kickoff and punt coverage teams for Saturday's, Jan. 3, game against the Carolina Panthers.

He came in after Michael Bates broke his hand in the second quarter and returned the last four kickoffs for 95 yards.
